I suspect that more than a few of you have also had the misfortune as I did last Sunday. I was rear ended while stopped at a light. Fortunately by the grace of God no one in my family was injured other than general neck and back soreness ( I hope )! I was hit by a POS driving a POS. He looked to be high / drunk etc and fled right after the crash only taking time to grab two backpacks out of the his car. I have contacted my insurance company, no word on the other vehicles insurance but I am not holding my breath, and I am waiting for the adjuster call for repairshop etc. From the pictures my truck does not look too bad compared to the car. My concern is that the bed is bowed from front to back which to me might equal "frame damage". I have heard that some insurance companies will total the vehicle in such cases. should I remove my stereo system, I have all the factory stuff.

October of 2013. It has just 19k miles. I am pretty bummed. But I feel really lucky that I can feel that way because we all are alright. Thanks for the replys. I will keep a close eye on the dealer and hand less the repairs.

A great start to ruining the meat is by holding, carring,posing for pictures with your recently downed game. All my javie pictures are of them on the ground. More D

If you are of the opinion that Javalinas are "bad,smelly,gamey or any thing other than great eating it is because somewhere between when the animal was alive and you eating something went wrong. I have offended a few on here before so I will try to choose my words a little more carefully. The quickest way to have a poor experience with Javalina meat is by touching the outside of it and then touching the inside (meat). It could be with your hands,knife or whatever. I use the gloves that are used in hospitals and plenty of knifes. Like 10-12 pairs of gloves and at least half as many knives. If you THINK YOU MIGHT HAVE TOUCHED THE OUTSIDE change gloves and get a fresh knife.

i gave up on radios long ago....switched over to verizon service for cell phone and it works in some pretty suprising places. text messages are quieter than radios ALWAY sounding off at the wrong time too. More D

my brother posed this same question years ago. because he could not hunt, new baby, job, move planned from tucson to phx during hunt season, etc. I said "apply for the north rim, you will never get it" He drew it and went hunting, got his largest mulie to date. PROUD of him for that! More D

Perhaps not caring is the trick. .. some friends of the family regularly draw elk, mostly bull, tags and "hunt most of the time" meaning they might head out for a quick afternoon hunt a day or two literally a two HUNDRED YARD WALK TO AND FROM CAMP! They never get anything but theven tag is wasted so to speak.

My wife has not been drawn for 5 years for deer or elk....her last tag?? Rifle Bull. My daughter has not been drawn for anything after completing her hunters education class. My uncle has drawn elk (cow and bull equally) tags 6 tags in 8 years. I have not drawn and deer tag in 2 and elk in 3-4 years. There is no rhyme or reason. I just really hope we draw SOMETHING this year.....PLEASE!
