nice bull!! I took a cow last month that had a hoof just like that. As I was butchering her I noticed an injury to the bone just below the knee. Luckly a friend 'bugged' the bone and there is a hole right in the middle of it, i'm thinking a bullet wound. I'll try and post pics on another thread.

some time ago you asked about muzzy loads. i'm curious what you have come up with so far?

one has to consider the fps at impact with the GMX's. even in the ad the expansion at any thing less than 2500fps looks poor. 3400fps is great but the calibers with impact velocities like that at 200yards plus are few and far between.

I just tried to pull open a kitchen drawer and the face came off in my hand! Over the years I have redone a few drawers but I don't have the time nowadays to redo another. The issue is my uncle shop where I have done the work before but he has a job, he's a HVAC contractor, right now so I can't make another drawer now. Does any one here have the tools or experience with this kind of thing that could help me out?

there was a guy on backpage or craigslist offering mobile service. i think he was from the mesa area too. i called him up and he stated he worked or currently worked at a ''big phx area shop'' he sounded like he knew his stuff but have yet to need or use him, thankfully. his rates were very reasonable.

MZ hunting is FUN! I only apply for elk with a MZ. The MZ rifles I have had all had potential for good to great accuracy if you were willing to find the right primer, powder, powder charge, bullet, bullet weight, sabot combo. I have learned more about bullet dynamics and long range shooting from your post so finding the right combo should be a cinch for you. As stated before they can be accurate but they don't carry the energy out to long distances. Just look up the B.C. of the bullets. They are about as sleek as a brick. Keep the distance to 200yrds max. I too have used the XP and they worked great. Now my new MZ likes the Barnes MZ expander 300gn. I can verify they open up just like the pics out to 170+ yards. I'd love to hear about your progress on finding a load. I bet the 'virgin' will teach us something....

I have a '08 F250 CC diesel 4x4 I bought with 35k and now has 50k miles. In town mileage hurts at 14mpg. On the hwy at 60mph ill get 19mpg. Like others mentioned at 75mph mpg drops. I also don't drive it much and it seems when ever the ''exhaust filter clean'' comes on I just am pulling into the drive way. I know I have to drive it like I stole it but when it cost more that $100 to fill up my foot gets a whole lot lighter. I tow a 8500lb trailer loaded and ill get 14mpg to Phx from Tucson at 70mph. The truck will tow at 75mph no problem. More often than not while heading up to 6A from Tucson the truck will only down shift a hand full of times. The turbo will increase boost for slight grades etc. The only mph drop I have ever seen is on the afore mentioned 260 from Campo Verde. I had a Nissan Armada prior to this truck and it is a world of difference.
