You guys were the "light" at the end of a 3/4 mile drag of that nice fork mulie on Friday night. I only guessed that it was you because your buddys were rubbing you about missing that lion you glassed up. Glad to see you here at our CWT family!

If he runs west he might stop somewhere around Cascabel, if east on the other side of Safford. South the other side of Wilcox etc...etc. Sorry just kidding! Sounds like a big canyon. Especiallyif shot at he might run forever or just untill he find a nasty hole and hold VERY tight untill its dark almost! So tight that you could walk right by him and he will not buge. Whats important is that canyon is HIS HOME and be sure he knows it well. I recommend: Practice shooting, sit on that canyon, find out where he hangs out, drink water, eats.

This was on the opening page from Cox.net Hunter Accidentally Shot, Killed By Son During Trip 12-07-2004 8:24 AM (San Carlos, AZ) -- A man living on the San Carlos Apache Reservation is dead after his son accidentally shot him over the weekend. Tribal authorities say 44-year-old William Delma was hunting with his 24-year-old son Brian and two other people Sunday near Globe. The group was hunting elk in the area and the son apparently mistook his father for one of the animals. Officials say this was the second accidental shooting death related to hunting in the past three months. As a result, the San Carlos Recreation and Wildlife Department passed a resolution yesterday requiring all hunters to wear orange caps and vests in the area during hunting season.

One question! Do the goats mind carrying your Coues or any game for that matter, does the smell bother them?
-
I would be concerned about some of the bozos the Ernesto ran into recently! I have heard of some Wackos that shoot at anything that moves then go see what it is that they killed! I see in the photo that they are easy to see. I bet it would make for more of an "adventure" to hunt with the aid of goats!

Sorry to here about your situation! I fell lucky that nothing like that has happend to me. On another note: You and your brother did great in your new favorite hunting spot 36C! Nice looking deer! Funny that I saw your name it the sign out book at the King Anvil ranch on Sat. When I saw that you got a deer it made me SMILE ! How did your Pronghorn hunt go?

I have noticed that some of the Nikon/Bushnell spotter are not waterproof. It might not be important to you , just thought I would mention it.

I wish that at the age of ten I could have got my first deer! That looks like one happy boy, and now hunting will keep him out of trouble!

Man that was a hunt! Glad you stuck it out, most guys would not have. Can't wait to see your trophy....because that is what he is! I saw the story on the news about the young pregnate lady found by a hunter. I'm happy to hear it was by some one responsible like yourself. -
