I was lucky to kill this great buck. I always wanted to kill a buck with a drop tine. It may not be a true drop time but i think it could count as one or at least ill call it a hook cheater.

Mace, What were the mainbeams on that bad boy? Stud buck for sure.

I justed started hunting with a muzzlerloader last year. My goal is to harvest the Arizona big 10 with a muzzlerloader. I got an antelope, javelina, and now a mule deer. I am hooked on the smokepole.

Cant wait to bring my biggest coues home. Clay does amazing work.

What really gets me is that i am looking at maps making phone calls to make sure i am legal, planning where to hunt, and hiking my A## off and everyone and their mother are driving all roads and do not care about the changes.

It just hit me last weekend. I got the ELK RUT FEVER! Feed looks great, water is plentiful, and the bulls are rubbed out and looking for ladies. Elk are looking healthy in my unit and horn growth is looking good. I think this is going to be a great rut year, maybe one to remember. Good lucky to all those that have an elk tag this sept. Its getting harder to stay focused at work.
