We are gaining freedom from the trail camera abuse that has been happening for years. Cant use cameras wtf. Going to stop hunting? simple equation cameras equal money and fame! Not a loss of freedom. long range weapons really. Dudes back in the day killed stuff with a sharps rifle at 1000+ yards.

The Boquillas is a good model, nothing wrong with hunting the way we did 30 or 40 years ago I have seen it first hand, the quality of the hunt and animals has improved because cameras are not allowed. I bet some people don’t put in for 10 because they don’t know how to hunt without cameras!

If they ban the cameras and hunters/guides choose to continue to use them for helping themselves/clients take wildlife then they are choosing to break a law just like the power line guy!

Maybe this will create a trail cam hunting season. No permit required. Remove them and take them to a game and fish office for a award.

Oh chit the sky is falling and the world is coming to an end. No trail cameras! Anyone remember hunting before trail cameras were invented? We’re you still successful? I know I was. You can still take pictures through your spotting scope or binoculars! Money/fame not outfitters have ruined the sport of hunting! ( ask the power line guy) Trail cameras are like insider trading information. The more cameras you run the higher your advantage is. (Cameras are not illegal, yet!).

At least we could use our cameras to protect our trucks and camp site while out hunting. Unless an animal comes by camp or your vehicle. Then it would be off limits . If you don’t kill anything that your camera has taking pictures of, you didn’t break any laws right?

That’s why I love hunting the Big Bo no cameras. Keeps it fair. Got to hunt/scout the old-fashion way. Someone had a trail camera on Elk tank on the Big Bo! Nevada has a trail cam season. No cams 8/1-12/31. Seem reasonable to me
