Yup takin care of predators when you can is always good, getting out there in them open flats and calling them in from hundreds of yards out is good hunting with the guys, i got this lil' guy this past weekend at my uncles camp, he was snooping around camp looking for a bite, he only ran about 30 yards out and stopped to look back, as soon as he seen me he bolted and i got him just as he was about to drop into the draw. Hey thanks alot guys, yea my cousin was lucky enough to harvest close to the highway so since he was alone it was no trouble, plus he's a pretty BIG guy too so he really doesn't need help hauling out a coues, anyway here's those antlers in the back of my truck, we found them on a previous coues hunt, just had them lying around for awhile, nothing to get excited over though, just some elk sheds and a nice set of coues sheds....about 92" gross. Here's a few pictures of the Avalos bull, supposed to gross score around 444 B&C, looks much bigger at first glance but upon further inspection you might note the weak spread and weak main beams that'll probably hurt the final score, still one very huge bull though! This is one of four bulls that i know of from this year to gross over 400 inches from the San Carlos, the others are a NT that grosses 419 6/8 and couple of 6x6's i believe. sorry if the pics are too big.
