    Please pray for my brother

An update on my brother. He came home today, he is still recovering, but from when the wreck happened until now he has made great strides. He will need some more surgery on an arm and leg, his memory is good and is getting better. I want to thank everyone for their prayers.

    A question for all...

I am still around Ernesto, been real busy with work and other stuff. I am still in Vegas commuting weekly, and spending as much time as I can with my kids on the weekends here at home.
  3. I picked up the newest book today, I am in the middle of reading "The Last Stand of the Tin Can Sailors" so once I am through with it I will get it read and will give my opinion. Have you read Blood Trail yet Tony, or anyone for that matter.

    Blood Trail

I am around a little, I have read the latest books and I liked the earlier ones better too, but these are still pretty good. Did you read Three Weeks To Say Goodbye and Blue Heaven, the books that don't include Pickett.

    Please pray for my brother

Another day and his vitals are still good. He is still in a coma, but is following some commands from the doctors. Please keep praying and thank you everyone.
  6. Plus one! I think that the family of the murdered policeman should be allowed to use baseball bats on the 2 guys for about 5 minutes or so! or until they get tired of swinging, then give them swords that aren't real sharp.
  7. That cracks me up Lark. "i8awolf" is high on my list.
  8. We have to remember that if these scumbags do happen to get the death penalty they are entitled to a humane death, I think they should at the least die by the same means they killed. The more I think about this the more I wish they would get shot trying to escape.
  9. I would like to help the economy in this state and I think a speedy triel and killing these worthless pieces of trash on pay-per-view with the proceeds split for fallen officers and the state budget, we could put a dent in the deficit and save the money we waste keeping them in prison for the next twenty years. I would pay for a tag to shoot them if they allowed it. Senseless murder

  12. It was the Bible and the word of God for as long as I can remember, now it is a religious book so that they can include it with several others, if we keep going down the road we are pretty soon it will be considered a fairy tale. I think it won't be long before they try and get rid of any books that teach people to think for themselves, they will get rid of the people that teach that as well. Our constitution will be a historical document and not what all our laws are based upon and what the supreme court uses as a base for all decisions. Here is the oath we swear when enlisting in the military, I guess when you have no belief in God this oath doesn't mean anything specifically when every single person signing up knows exactly what God we are referring to. We killed the punk terrorist Mcveigh we better kill this bastard as well. How much money are we going to spend with medical needs to fully recover the terrorist at Fort Hood, and the only way I will say it is worth it is if they tie him to the back of two tanks and pull him apart on Pay Per View. The wordings of the current oath of enlistment and oath for commissioned officers are as follows: "I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God." (Title 10, US Code; Act of 5 May 1960 replacing the wording first adopted in 1789, with amendment effective 5 October 1962). "I, _____ (SSAN), having been appointed an officer in the Army of the United States, as indicated above in the grade of _____ do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign or domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservations or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office upon which I am about to enter; So help me God." (DA Form 71, 1 August 1959, for officers.)

    photo radar ticket

Another option is to drive 15+ over the speed limit, they have said they will not use photo radar evidence in a criminal speeding case. Speed limits change a lot on the roads and drivers don't always see them, more often than not it is the driver in front of you that proceeds at 65 where the speed limit is 75 and will not move over and allow you by creating a back up, and on the one lanes it is worse, 65 speed limit 55 mile per hour car, you hit 70 to 75 to pass and then boom you get popped, most officers wouldn't pull you over, but a camera is going to snap a picture. I speed every single day, if I am looked at as a criminal in the same sense as a thief or a murderer then there are some stupid people out there. Would you rather have a drunk driver running 50 in a 55 or a sober person running 65 in the 55, I myself would trust the speeder more, but that camera isn't going to catch the drunk, he could be swerving lane to lane, but hey he is immune to the camera laws. Maybe they will start watching the streaming video and writing citations that way for anything they can pick up from the video. Maybe once Napolitano gets the chips put in the licenses and ID cards they can just track speeds with satellites, if they deem you are speeding you will get a ticket. For those that like photo radar the license thing should be a welcome site to them that way all these speeders can be tracked, maybe they should just implant eveyone at birth with a microchip to make absolutely sure where we are and what we are doing at all times, that way everything can be monitored on everyone. cars should be equipped with sensors that send out a signal when speeds that exceed the legal limit are reached and that car will shut down until an officer can arrive and write them a ticket and send the proper code to start the car back up, this crap can go to extremes, and it starts with the dang cameras. Just so you know these cameras are machines and machines can make mistakes just like humans, my ticket was dropped because I asked if a camera could pick up a baseball, they didn't know, they said it would only pick up large metal objects, then they all started talking, the officer told the judge they didn't have any evidence against me, before I asked them the same question under oath. When I passed the camera and got my ticket I was pointing it out to my kids and explaining what it does, I rechecked my speed several times as I approached it, the posted speed was 25, I was right at that speed, when the camera flashed we thought it was hilarious, when I got a ticket for doing 42 in a 25 I was pissed, I had to make two seperate trips to prescott valley, and then my case was dismissed, I had to pay the server fee of 26 dollars, but it was worth it to see justice served and I will be damned if I will plead guilty to something I did not do. So at this point I say screw the cameras and the people who support them.

    photo radar ticket

Once you are served there is a fee, I had to pay was 26.00 in Prescott valley for being served, I won my case, but still had to pay the server fee, and a maricopa county sheriff was who served me at my house. The best thing to do is throw it in the trash until you get served, the more people that do this ties up the system and makes it harder and harder for the process to work as they want it to. Hopefully what will happen is they will see how bad it is and get rid of them, and then hire more police officers, when they write you a ticket you are served right then. I can see people running for office being asked about this for sure, the question is will they lie and say they will get rid of them and then allow them to stay because of the economic issues local and state governments are facing. Either way I see it as an invasion of privacy since they are all streaming video, they are ran by a foreign country (Australia), there is the possibility of machine malfunction causing unnecessary problems to lots of people, it is going to lead to the streaming video tracking plates over distances and measuring the time to calculate an average speed and sending out tickets, no matter it just seems like Big Brother trying to take control of individuals. I think if I ever receive another ticket for speeding in a 75 mile zone I will sue every vehicle manufacturer in the U.S. for producing a vehicle that exceeds all speed limits in this country, thus causing the ticket to me in the first place.

    Lesnar or Mir?

I think Lesnar will end it in the first three minutes, he is too big and too strong, and as long as he is just a little smart it won't be much of a fight. As far as holding a title with a 3-1 record, old school thought is that you need to beat on guys that suck for a few years and then beat on a few that are pretty good for a couple of years and then when the champ absolutely has to fight you he will and then the best fighter holds the title, and that is why boxing is falling fast, the two best fighters take five years before they ever see each other in the ring. He may be 3-1 but I have a feeling he will fight whoever is put in front of him without complaint, as it seems most ufc fighters will, and in the other weight classes where there are quite a few really good fighters they mix an match until they have the two best out there in a relatively short time, plus when they hold an event they have several good fights, unlike boxing with a main event and a bunch of people you have never heard of.

    45-70

There is possibly no demand right now and the 45-70 is more popular than it was, but that isn't much. The overall price of most ammo is high right now and at times hard to find so you might get lucky and find someone who needs the stuff and will take it off your hands. I will reload when and if I need more, but I have a good supply at this time.
  23. That is why I think a few other people have said in earlier posts; why buy an auction tag for this purpose when they could go buy an over the counter tag and do the same thing. The OTC tag would benefit them in the sense that anyone could buy it and use it, even recruit a houndsman and film it under the pretense of a hunt and passing the lion up with no mention of sierra club, but the auction tag holder will have paid money to be used by the department for lion projects, and the holder would have to find a houndsman that knows that he holds the sierra club auction tag and convince him they are doing this with good intentions. Maybe the sierra club can convince someone to give them a mexican grey wolf tag to auction, and a california condor tag too, both of those tags would seem way more fitting for them if it a no intended take photo safari, and they would be raising money for species they enjoy, but we pay a price for.
