I am looking to get a Leupold Scope before Deer and Elk seasons. I have a tag for unit 10 bull and 27 coues and dont want to have my scope ruin a shot for me again.... any way I would love to work out a trade for a VXIII or VXII with cash depending on values. or I want to buy a scope when this sells. let me know if you have one.

I got the 27-28 hunt again this year as well. 4th choice...tag 502 of 600.... I have to have more luck than last year. the prowler broke down on me twice and couldnt get where i wanted to go. taking the quad/ truck in this year. maybe i wont have to spend 2 days working on equipment or walking when i could be hunting. we have taken some nice bucks from this unit in the past but my personal best is a small 3 x3. havent drwn here for mule deer yet.

Chihuahuas for sale...could be great hunters.. : -)

Thanks They have been sold -
Ok, I told my grandpa that I would help him sell his 3 Chihuahua puppies. They might hunt for lizards or something. Maybe retrieve your dragon flies for you in the down season. He has 3 for sale they are about 10 weeks old and ready for a new home. They are all brown but 1 of the males has a dash of white on his forehead. Anyway they are cute and have started getting house trained. I am almost positive he has started the series of shots. We are asking $200 each. They are not breeders but they wanted to have one litter. The stud was papered but the mother was not so they are not papered themselves. Brian 623 693-3205 or call my grandpa direct AL 623 694-9733

Just brush there. But two other deer did go over that way when he stoped to smile for me.

Me and my Dad were coyote calling way out west of Phoenix at like 500th Ave. This was 2 weeks ago now and we jumped up this buck. He stood around long enough for me to get a decent photo. He hangs out up on this little hill near one of my dads favorite coyote stands. any way he has been seen 3 times now in the same area. Maybe he will be around for archery season.

Ok, so I got my Bull Elk tag for unit 10. Wooohooo!! I am now getting advertising in the mail like the Elk Hunter Magazine and companies selling maps and such. I don't mind the advertising because it is relevant but I have this little feeling in the back of my head that says “What gives the AZGFD the right to sell or give out my information." What do you all think?
-
It doesnt make me mad or anything I just don't think it seems like something they should do.

Saw lots of bulls in 10 last year for the rifle season For my Dad he shot a little better than average 6x6. Some were big but they rut hard and most of the big bulls had busted up antlers by late Novemeber. You wont have to worry about that though. I will I got my tag for The Rifle hunt with my dad, Grandpa, and Brother who all have repeat hunts. It will be fun. Good Luck

I know how she feels. It is awesome to find the first one!!! Great job.

I have been hunting up there a few times but have not filled a tag yet. I also an setting my sights further west. I grew up on the south side of the whitetanks north of the freeway on Waton road. Some great mountains but not much water other than in the park. It gets so dry in the summer we would see deer in our yard in the summer at times and ran a water line to the wash by the house to fill a little tank.

Ok, so I went out shed hunting. I camped out Thursday night to make sure i could make the best of Friday and stayed till Today (Saturday) at noon. I found 7 Elk browns, 2 muly Chalks and a Mule deer head with Forks. The little mule deer would have been cool had he lived to see his prime with that second eye guard on the outside. This is my first Brown antler find. I was so happy!!! A while later I saw these tines sticking up. When I got back to the truck and was driving away I saw this and took the picture from my drivers seat. Got to love freebies. After the first long hike carrying my heavy canon camera I started leaving it in the truck. so here is the end of trip pics. FYI. The little bulls are still packing, I saw 5 with horns still on their heads. I will take a few more pics one of my biggest antler and one of the mule deer skull.
