Actually I've heard and believe the deformity will happen on the opposite side of the injury and is typically with leg injuries. I've also heard that there are parasites that can cause deformities as well. Some deformities are just a genetic trait and that can and does get passed down to offspring. We watch bulls grow every year in the same areas and it's fairly common to see genetic traits being handed down. It's neat seeing a new bull come of age and knowing who his daddy was! JIM> Jim is correct, as a wildlife biologist on studies, if a bull is injured on his right side, if he has an abnormal antler it will be on the opposite side of the injury, it is similar to ur brain, the left side of ur brain controls the right side of your body and vise versa

How close would you let it get?
elkhunter replied to huntjunkie's topic in Black Bear or Grizzly Bear hunts
Having worked in alaska and co workers been attacked by black and grizz bears, we having a saying, shoot now and ask questions later, 15 yards and walking sideways is the closest I will let a bear near me, -
If you get a pic of the thief it will not help you much, cops will not run any kind of check on the photos, might as well as make sure they get blue ink in their face or lose some fingers. I think someone will come up with a tracking device for these cameras, it depends on who has enough guts to invest money in a product like that

Haha yea something like it! -
Tj- I respect you a whole lot, when I grow up I wanna be like you a javelina, elk and fishing guru! We r moaning And whining on this forum that we do not draw what we want to draw, I can speak for myself and for azpackhorse, our biggest bucks did not come from dec hunts but those oct and nov hunts, we relieve stress by discussing why we did not draw hunts we wanted but we still go hunting in our unit of choice every year, one of those odd things that occur to hunters

Camo is overrated and very expensive. blue jeans and Hanes tshirt is the way to go -
If you look at az lottery system, there are numbers that are pulled way more often than others, this may be part of someone Ssn or sportsman ID like jake said, In order to figure this out, everyone should post their ssn and tell how many times they drew a dec tag, For personal reasons I choose not to participate in this research ha

Howdy been workin a new setup for the rifle. Currently the tripod head bogen manfrotto 700rc2 is not strong enough to hold the rifle level and steady, it keeps creeping downwards Do you use rifle railz and what type tripod head do you use succesfully? I am looking at bogen m. 701 hdv but it seems a little on the weak side And also looking at bogen manfrotto 501 Hdv which looks to be the best option Thanks
