I enjoy reading your stories and looking at your pictures...congrats and keep it up, nice collection of bucks ya got there -
You should have yelled "Look..JIM ZUMBO!!!" and while everyone looked in the other direction...ya shoulda taken off with the rack haha, all kidding aside that's just an unreal rack! It would seem more appropriate if a nice young girl in a binki held that rack rather than you....oh well

Great work, calling them in while archery hunting is the ultimate rush...you'll have to try that out someday!

1.) Glass longer 2.) Swarovskis lead to bigger coues bucks 3.) Spanish dagger is a coues magnet 4.) Spitz sunflower seeds rule 5.) I finally learned how to hold out, I had 2 bucks that were bigger than my biggest buck but I didn't shoot them and ended up getting a beautiful wide 94'er.

Some real world feedback- I had the Zeiss for a few coues deer hunt and a couple pig hunts, it was a huge improvement over my Pentax 16's. I was able to glass much later into the day than the pentax and the size was much smaller and lighter. The clarity is awesome. The eye cups made my eyes sore after a few hours of glassing, it's not quite user friendly with somewhat sharp edges. I love these binoculars and would buy them again. I however passed them down to my father and bought the Swarovskis 15's. But if I lost the swarovskis or damaged them...the Zeiss would be the next thing I would buy. I looked through minox before and clarity is equal, brightness is a little better on minox side but not by much. The Zeiss would be possibly the 2nd to the 4th best optics you can buy. Can't complain with that -

This is a picture the sunset of the day I got my 15's swaro this summer, it's my favorite picture of the year -
Does the pistol grip get tiring after a while? Never used them and the ones I've played around with in the stores were really hard to grip up, do you have an adjuster where it makes the gripping easier?

Those two bucks are different bucks, the second buck has a longer beam than the 3rd and more space in between points, possibly brothers though, also the bucks have a bit of a different spread as well, IMO
-
5 sounds good, you might have a hard time finding the animals with 7 pins covering it up! How bout a sight where you can start out with 4 or 5 and then you can purchase more pins later on when you feel comfortable shooting long distance?

Those illegals piss me off so much I won't even budge a bit, you can bet your bottom dollar I'll still be hunting my dang southern units whether they're there or not, ain't nothing "illegal" about shooting 100 yards infront or below them, giving them a bit of a scare, they sure the heck can't shoot far with tiny 9mm. I ain't budgin a bit whether they kill them selves tryin to cross our dang border, tough chit on their own, I'm gonna do my hunting anyways, dang illegals..I don'thave a problem with them working for construction or sewer companys or crop growing but it's their trash is what bothers me the most!!!
