+ 1 on Toyos. I ran the open country on a nine inch chevy 1500. Best tires ive ever had. Were pretty quiet on the highway, and wore really well.

That would really cramp my fall time "sick days!"

Thanks for the help.

We have a house in Tempe (University and Hardy) with about an acre and a half of empty field behind it, and brick wall/industrial park businesses on three sides. Some how there is a coyote living back there feasting on cats and chickens. We are trying to rent the house out, but having this 'yote back there is a problem. Since its pretty much fenced in with nine foot brick walls on three sides, the only way in or out is right past the house. Before this becomes an issue id like to get someone out there to relocate this dog if possible. He not hurting anything in my mind as hes chomping down all the stray cats that plauged the property, but my mom (owner of the house) is more concerned about it getting cornered back there and hurting someone. Would GFD help in this situation, or would Maricopa County Animal Control be more appropriate?

I use "ABC Transmissions, Buckeye and 18th Ave (east on Maricopa) 6026283733 Nice Hispanic guy who put a new tranny in my old Sierra after i blew it and cracked the housing in a little over twenty four hours! Charged a grand I think. Compare that to the silverado I had before that one that the dealer did for $3500 and kept the truck for over a week!

Also, I know its hard, but dont buy into the magazine ads hype. While looking for a new bow I shot quite a few, some in the $1k range that were "the best. " Luckily I didnt like them for one reason or another, but fell in love with the Assassin; even more so when I saw the price! Also, last years bows are still among the best this year, and some go back even farther! Check out archerytalk and you can find private owners or even shops unloading bows way under what you'd expect to pay! For instance a shop in Wisconsin has NIB Assassins shipped to your door for under $550 pretty regularly, and some private owners are selling bows bought in January for $400!

Good point on the SS numbers. Im curious to know just how much information is given out? My dad and I have the same name and use the same address, and we only get one copy of flyers/invites even though we both draw, someone has to be checking the info before they send things out, otherwise we'd be getting dupes. How long has this been going on? I remember getting things for my junior hunts, but has this been occuring for years? 80s? 70's?

One time I will submit my application early enough to take advantage of the correction period. It seems im always rushing down there to try to beat the deadline by mere hours after months of notification!

Facebook is fun, the interaction between companies and the end user/ consumer is pretty awesome I think. Infact I have all but given up on calling or e-mailing a company with a problem. If I just use their Facebook I get a more personal service, and if it can't be solved over the net by other end users or the rep I get a direct line number to someone who can help out instead of sitting on hold or playing phone tag. Invicta watches is a great example. The interaction between the company rep and the consumer is fun in the day to day posts, and any problem what so ever is refered to the person in charge of that department instead of calling the generic number.

I cant picture how you'd use this, can you put it on and snap some more photos please? ;0)

Those elipticals are pretty nice! I was on one for therapy for my knee and it would get me nice and warmed up to start the day! Adam, check out the good will, I've seen a few around the East side for way under $100. They work and on the half price tuesday you might even get luckier!

How does that boat do hauling the toy hauler? Nice looking rigs guys!

Turn the lights off all the way and try again.

Amanda, if the page is a "company" page you can choose as many "admin" users to help keep it up to date. I'd be more than happy to help out, it seems i'm on there all the time anyways!

I knew I was getting back into fishing lately for some strange reason! Thanks for sharing!

I forwarded this to a family member who owns smaller property up in the White Mountains, but he will be placing the ad on the local shops' bulletin board to hopefully help find you guys some good property! Good luck!

This is the Eclipse you are speaking of, correctly?

My dad and I had an Apache come through the end of Box Canyon in Florence about tree top level following the river. They were doing manuvers in the red flag zone, and these guys must have skipped out for some fun. It turned to face us, and then took off. A little unnerving to say the least!

I've been following these fires and I never heard of that one. I might of missed it though. TJ I think it was Channel 3 that was reporting one at the base of the peaks yesterday on the six o'clock news when there was only three!
-
So does anyone know if there was infact a fire at the base of Four Peaks yesterday that seemed to be controlled, or was that another fire report that was reported wrong?

OWe all want huge racks to show off, if you say you don't and still do bull hunts "for meat" I'm calling BS. Opening day, it better be big, day two, maybe something smaller and by the last couple days it better have something hard sticking out of its head! I don't get to hunt all that much anymore so sure, I want a nice animal to show for it, but as "MissedAgain" can vouch for, my whitetail antlers look perfect on a small dog! Still two of my top favorite hunts. I get a kick out the guys on archery talk who will rag on anyone who doesn't shoot atleast a huge 4x4. Some people.

Tour the car shows, or try to find a local club. I was having a hard time finding NOS parts for an old military jeep, and a whole world opened up when i found like minded people. Awesome truck though!

Unless its an elaborate prank from a secret admirer (totally plausible) i got a surprise issue in the mail last week! I had just been looking over your site and planned on doing a subscription, when i got home there one was! Looks like a very good magazine that i can relate to (unlike chasing caribou in other mags). Great articles, and fun stories/photos. Thanks guys!
