    ***New raffle*** Ruger American .45

The winner of the Ruger was drawn at Sportsman Warehouse today and the winner is Bradley Bishop. Congratulation Bradley and thanks to everyone who purchased tickets and helping support The Desert Chrstian Archers. David
  2. I wanted to get clarification about your question before I answered it. I spoke with Cody at The Outdoorsmans and he told me that Swarovski stated that the new 15x56s are HD, but they are not stating that on the box or the binos. So yes you can choose the new "HD" model if you are drawn. David
  3. I received an update this morning on the Swaro tickets sales, and they are selling fast. Don't miss out on a chance for a new pair of Swarovski's. Thank you for the support. David

    ***New raffle*** Ruger American .45

I found out today that we still have some tickets available for this pistol. Only 300 tickets will be sold. David
  9. I was wondering if there are any members who are only neck sizing there wssm brass. I have always used a full length die for my brass I shoot in my AR and bump the shoulder .0002 so the cases eject easier. I recently picked up a win model 70 25 wssm and thought about using a Wilson neck die since I already use these dies and a 21st Century arbor press for my Creedmoor. Will I still need to bump the shoulder for the bolt action, or could I get away with just neck sizing? David
  10. DCA is holding a raffle for a Remington turkey shotgun with a Truglo red dot sight. Only $5 a chance and the winner will be drawn March 15 at our turkey seminar. You do not have to be present to win. Good luck, David http://www.desertchristianarchers.org/raffle.html

    Anyone removed saltillo tile?

There is a company on Craigslist that removes tile, plus he can lay new tile for you. I can't remember the name, but it's worth every penny. I have used him a couple times. I used to own a company that did demolition and had to remove about 4K of Saltillo in a house in paradise valley. Never again. You will most likely have to re-float the floor before new tile, or just concrete filler if you do laminate. David

My hunt was in a different unit. This morning was the first time I hunted this spot. I was actually watching some deer when the pigs popped up. David

  19. You still have time to buy chances for the raffle. Thank you for the support, David
  20. I can't understand why you would post a statement like this. The money from these raffles are used wisely, just like most of the other outdoor groups in Arizona. How do you know what the odds are if you don't even know how many chances have been sold. The odds of drawing an elk, antelope or sheep tag are not good, but we still take a shot every year hoping to get a tag. A recent powerball lottery was 295 million to one, yet millions bought several chances to win it big. I will find out the current amount sold, so people can decide what the chances are of winning. Try not to view these raffles at just a chance to win, but also an opportunity to help our organization provide outdoorsman with several free great seminars throughout the year. We hold the largest elk seminar each year with almost 1000 attendees without charging anybody to attend. We are also holding a javelina camp this year for new hunters, and we provide archery equipment to young hunters at no charge. David
  21. Update- We have added some additional items to the tripod package raffle. *New Outdoorsmans digiscoping phone adapter and the correct mounting ring needed for your spotting scope or binos. *New Aristotle Engineering LOC JAW attachment for mounting an AR rifle to a tripod. David
