Awesome thread...my favorite in a long time. Congrats on the buck and what sounds like an amazing experience. Thanks for sharing it with us...especially the surprise ending. -
If you lost a camera in August 2013 in NM 16a...we found it today in a dried up tank. Only pics on the card are the hunter setting it one afternoon then “motion” pics of it being removed and I assume thrown in the tank the next morning. No pics of the culprit.

Maybe a CWT gofundme at the tire place in St George for any member with a Strip tag...LoL -
Yep...I'd be going with bow first and rifle as a backup. Unless you want the novelty of muzzleloader or crossbow assuming you've killed an elk with your bow before...
-
Depends on the season too...is it a rut hunt?
-
Do you have the option to change during the hunt or is the tag specific to weapon? Could go with archery and have rifle or muzzleloader as option if something big comes along out of range or whatever...

Zamberlin & Kenetreks boots- Price reduced

That’s got to be tough with the sizing issues...do you usually end up with one pair that fits both feet well enough or have to get 2 different sizes? -
Heading to NM this weekend to help my buddy on a tag...was hoping to help him chase bugles. Sounds like more of the same over there hot but water everywhere and lots of hunters sitting tanks this past weekend.
-
I’ve seen homemade signs before or more commonly a vehicle parked at the road going in...assuming only one way in. I don’t think it’s consistently done though.

This supports what I've always heard about flat tires up there...I bought an extra spare for my Kaibab hunt and never needed it. I still carry it on long towing trips though. Several folks including AZGFD up there said it wasn't necessary (though I noticed the AZGFD truck had 2 spares bolted in the bed) -
I really miss that guy...wonder what happened to him. LoL
-
I noticed the author too...and heck the headline aligns with all the mainstream media headline tactics...she’s doing a great job grabbing attention!

My buddy put one of these on his new bow...he loves it. I’m looking forward to checking it out on his elk hunt next weekend.

Who's getting excited for dove season?

Totally ignorant when it comes to eurasians...are they easy to tell apart from mourning doves when flying? -
Bump for great deal.

There’s an old saying I’ve always heard about work travel...never come home early without calling. This gives all new meaning to that. LoL

Awesome...

Another thread gone down a terrible tangent. OP regrets this thread now. 😂
