Very lucky. Glad you are okay and got help when needed. Could have been much worse. Nice buck too! I have slipped twice with mine but only got a sliced finger and not too bad.

Success on my very first Coues hunt - 34A
bigorange replied to mtuck's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Awesome first buck and way to stick with it through some frustrating days seeing no deer. Weve all been there and its worth it! Congrats! -
Ill have it ready after this weekend.

Similar story...my buddy got the trial version during his sheep hunt and it was so valuable during the hunt that he bought the subscription. I recently got the trial version and before my next hunt ill definitely subscribe.

Grimaldis Pizza hosting antihunting fundraiser

Order javelina pizzas from Jess at Pizza Mart... -
Cutco stuff is top notch...have a set of kitchen knives and received a pocket knife as a gift. Love it. I’m an outdoor edge/havalon fan for skinning but I imagine the cutco knives are great.

Sub moa and the ruger american predator
bigorange replied to CatfishKev's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
The warped stock seems to be a common thing with the American Predator. Mine just barely touches the barrel on the left side which seems to be the most common side. Lots of posts on 6.5 forums about lightly sanding the stock to eliminate this contact and also recommending first upgrade to a new stock. Mine is dead on at 200 without even trying despite the stock contact. -
A couple of the HAM and rifle leftovers seem to go fast...

Sub moa and the ruger american predator
bigorange replied to CatfishKev's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Pretty sure th 7-08 was a Ruger Compact. The Predator doesn’t come in 7-08... -
Right on. Thanks all.

Leftover applications start 11/27, so sometime before then. Just noticed it mentions online “if available” which I’ve never noticed before...that would be a nice change to the leftover “mail it to not arrive before the date” process...

Daughter drew her first javelina tag...34AB youth tag. I may pick up a leftover HAM tag depending on family schedule.
-
No Goulds tag for me but not enough points to complain and no surprise.

Bump for a good deal. Id be all over this but my stove is 14 model.

Just don’t let Casey eat any Sonoran dogs...

Good info right there. Very handy tip.

LoL yeah I was confused and thinking same thing.

Makes sense if you already have the spares. Assuming when you need them youre not in the slop and unable to change out the whole thing for whatever reason.

Great week with the pup
bigorange replied to SOLO HUNTER 1998's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Very cool. Looks like a lab...is he finding and flushing birds for you or just retrieving? -
Bump for a good show. I’ve been a fan of Dave for over 20 years.
-
Very cool with a handgun. Congrats!

I know lots of hillbillies...a few from Arkansas. I dont think any of them use decoys but they love roadhunting. Sounds perfect.
