I've used toothpaste on mine. Worked really well on one of our cars and not so great on the other for whatever reason. And they both smelled minty fresh after.

"Unsuccessful" just got my refund back...on to plan c I guess.

Making the switch to these myself this year...from Easton Axis. VAP is definitely worth a look.

Perfect for all the folks who just drew antelope tags...

Depending on location I have a few I've practiced with that I'd give you to try. All 100-gr...swhacker, rage, terminal t-lock, shuttle t, maybe a slick trick or whac em in there too.

Any thoughts as to why? Bulls shedding later? More folks out shed hunting? I'm assuming you're in same areas where you've had more success before.

Umm..... Like Duwane Adams? I got a solicitation from him for my Unit 1 archery tag..... Nothing wrong with an outfitter trying to grow their business, IMO. S. Beat me to it...this is how I first found Duwayne except for his mentions in books and this forum. I even called him based on his mailing and had a nice conversation with him. I enjoy getting these mailings...means it will be a nice fall. Wish I was getting them now.

portable camp fire -Legal for fire restictions ** SOLD**
bigorange replied to elkaholic's topic in Classified Ads
Nice...have a similar propane fire that we've used at campgrounds that don't permit fires and during restrictions. Saved the day a couple years back when it was below freezing in the mountains but fire restrictions still in place. -
Plenty of public land and ranches that don't charge access fees. Killed my archery buck on Deep Wells Ranch and Fain Ranch has a lot of space too. Plus a nice bit of public land right behind Perkins...

Upcoming Hunter's Education Campout Weekend
bigorange replied to rossislider's topic in Youth Hunters
Great class and camp. I missed this post on their FB feed so glad to see it here. My daughter is due to go this year or next...turns 9 today. -
PM sent. This scout leader needs a smaller tent too.

Agree on the cow hunts being tougher...seem to always be cows when hunting bulls, but tough to get close when after the cows. We even tried chasing bugles hoping to get in on a group of cows with a bull and just found solo bulls. A lot harder than I expected and pretty frustrating. I will say that during the hunt as soon as people know you have a cow tag they'll tell you everywhere they've seen them, so lots of good help from other hunters.

Man that would be a fun hunting rig...bump.

I like both groups...oh well don't know what that says about me. Whiners, know-it-alls, jerks, and good guys in both as I see it. Some good "grab your popcorn" threads on both too...no Lark on BB though. -
I keep intending to get out to one of their shoots too...maybe I'll see you out there.
-
Awesome stuff right there...glad you got into some action and pretty sweet sheds!

Funny I was thinking fresh javelina scat...

I was wondering if there was a family account option. I thought I heard someone mention that before but didn't remember. I was trying to help someone set up portals yesterday and he was asking if he could do a family account and I didn't have the answer so we didn't set up a portal at all until he could talk to G$F.My buddy was told they were working on this to have one login for a family. Not sure I'd trust it though...might end up with my kids' bonus points instead of mine. LoL

This too...best hands-on course I've seen.
