My good friend's kid drew a Unit 9 late rifle tag. Looking for recommendations on roads/areas for camping and good starting points for scouting. Not looking for big bulls...we want his kid (mine too if schedules work out and we get to tag along) to have a great hunt and see a lot of elk and hopefully get a shot at any antlered bull. PM if you don't want to post specific areas here.

May not have been the bull you were originally after (bad luck man, but that's public land hunting!) but congrats on sticking with it and getting a great bull!

I don't even recognize those streets...in Tucson? Was it an older Toyota (earlier than the Tacoma) with a big ladder rack on the back? If so, I know who that is...

First HUGE CONGRATS! Daughters are awesome...obviously different, but still awesome. First and foremost be there for her and let her know you love her and she means the world to you.
