Well more like 2 things I already knew, but needed to be reminded. 1. I may have grown up hunting from treestands, but I really don't like to sit still and quiet for a long time anymore. Especially in a hot blind with no coues cooperation. 2. Just like fishing, if you want to shoot doves don't take a kid dove hunting. Had a blast and shot a lot of cans and explored the desert, but no birds were harmed. Wouldn't have that one any other way though...he wants to go again.

Bump for nice starter glass or backup glass...I upgraded too and kept mine as a backup/truck pair and for my kid to use.

Nursing what seems to be an inflamed achilles, so have cut back the running but still walking a couple miles a day. It really screams at me on steep climbs like I did this weekend looking for coues. Diet okay if I can get a handle on portion control.

I've thought about trying this before...or I think I might run in between. I always seem to be sucking wind from a climb when a shot presents itself. Plus I hate lunges almost as much as I hate burpees.

yes, I have......no interference.....that's what its made for....to work with a bino harness and pack. Agree. Almost always wear a pack with mine...works just as well as bino harness alone.
