Grew up in TN, home of the Big Orange Tennessee Volunteers...although they're not doing so hot this year. Also have a big orange T on the back window of my truck.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that is one nice buck. Wish we had seen one like that!

Heading out late Friday for 35A. Four of us hunting and a couple this is their first deer hunt. (Scary thing I just realized...I have more experience than the other 3 combined and that's not saying much. ) Hopefully can get at least one of them a shot at a buck. No matter what happens we're going to have fun! Anyone else going out there for this hunt?

Had a great hunt in beautiful country. Saw quite a few deer and a couple nice bucks but never could get a shot. I needed the rocks in my pockets and an extra layer of clothes...it was windy and cold. Great time and can't wait for Dec 9 to get out there again.

+1 on both. CAn't beat the Vortex warranty and with a 300RUM you'd be good out to 300 with a standard reticle 3-9x to save some $$.

Nice looking bucks! I hear you on the kids songs...have had them stuck in my head for the last 6 years. Now my kids finally like other music, but still get those kids songs stuck in my head on hikes.

Same here...have hunted 36a a lot and first time in 35a. Planning on posting pics and story even if we eat tag soup...
