Interesting. Never had any negative experiences and also enjoyed seeing things I didn’t need but might have bought since they were on sale. My few purchases were always smooth, but never had any returns or contact with customer service.

Growing up the first weekend in Nov was always the youth hunt. Many fond memories hunting with my uncle on his farm from various treestands in hardwoods or over corn, soybeans, or clover.

Friend took his kids there and had a great time. I don’t know a lot of details but sounded like what’s described above. I agree it’s closer than going to a TX ranch and I’d give it a try.

In addition to the 2 hunters in CO I found out today one of my old hunting buddies died suddenly. He had moved out of state and didn’t hunt a lot anymore but was with me when I killed my first archery deer…the mulie in my avatar. He shared his hunting spots with me and was probably the reason I was able to get a shot that day. He was still young…in his 50s and died of a GI bleed while out of the country for work. SEAL and leaves behind a wife and 2 daughters. Life is short. Having a bourbon for him and a tequila for his wife tonight. RIP old friend.
