Good pointers here. Agree on water if you can find what they’re hitting and get them patterned. Spot and stalk is a blast and definitely get a decoy…I’d go with a predator decoy if I had another tag. I spent my hunt in 19a spot n stalk in the mornings and evenings and sat water through mid-day. Had as many shot opportunities each way, but much closer on water and ended up killing mine on water. 2 dozen arrows is about right LoL Another hunter on the same water hole after I had killed ended up leaving his blind wearing a “be the decoy” hat and a tan shirt and walked right up 50yd from the buck he killed. The herd or two I’ve seen pretty regularly on Empire Ranch always seem huntable if there’s a buck you like. Decent rolling terrain at least.

Same…friend got hit for 3 resident non-youth elk.

Tom Robinson died recently. If you had anything to do with archery in Tucson or Southern AZ you probably crossed paths with Tom at some point.

Dang I had that wrong…Tucson voters passed a proposition to remove them. Of course the city pushed against removing them due to the revenue.

Pretty sure Tucson pulled them because they weren’t making enough money.

I guess I shouldn’t ignore the signs next time I drive through there.

I didn’t even know there was still photo radar anywhere…maybe that was just Tucson where they got rid of all of them.

Great news, but yeh have it checked out thoroughly. Friend had his truck stolen by a tweaker and got it back pretty quickly…had so much “hidden” damage when he had it checked out that he decided to get rid of it. I don’t know all the details but they found all kinds of drug residue and paraphernalia inside the vehicle plus frame and other damage that he didn’t want to risk it.

I remember storms like that when I was a kid. We never got much decent snow, but always had ice and freezing rain.

A little snow and nitric acid in SE Tucson today. Kids got a chemical spill day off school to play in the snow.

Thanks for sharing that…I was just about to ask how many folks had actually volunteered to be instructors. That sums that up…no matter how many volunteer it’s broken.
