Yeah I’d support mandatory reporting before being allowed to apply like NM. Of course it would still be an honor system but better than nothing. I always report anyway, but I know a lot of folks don’t.

When I took it several years ago it was almost all law. And a lot of good scenario discussions encouraging folks to think about how you’d handle different situations. The “call 911 first and say you’re in fear for your life so it’s all recorded” was taught too…that must be common. I keep mine current to make the purchasing process easier. FFL transfers are much quicker.
