This was my experience…hauling the thing around trying to get a stalk was a pain. Maybe just didn’t fit my style of hunting or would have been better sitting instead of spot n stalk. I have family back East that use them exclusively but they’re sitting treestands and blinds and they’re legal for anyone there during archery. And no I’m not disabled…sort of fat but my hip doesn’t hurt. I had a permit one season for a shoulder injury. Not disabling but met the criteria for the permit and definitely kept me from drawing a bow until the injury healed. I wouldn’t hunt with one again unless it was my only option.

Is it a bad sign they have financing available on ammo? 🤔

Was your hunt this week? I heard from a friend some of the hunts this week got cancelled.

Did the results surprise you or confirm expectations between the two loads? Expecting to see the real results in a couple weeks…

Since we’re being hypothetical, what if you shoot the deer in unit a from unit b glassing point…and it runs into unit b and dies? Similar to the “shot on public and ran onto the Rez/private” issue and depend on the blood trail as proof?

No personal experience, but I worked with a guy that used to spearfish off the coast south of Rocky Point and said it was a blast.

I have no solid prior knowledge of 4a before the archery hunt. We saw quite a few cows on my hunt in the usual areas according to my friend hunting with me. He did comment that there weren’t as many cows off the side of the road as he’d seen in previous hunts there, but overall seemed to be good numbers. Good luck!
