No personal experience, but I worked with a guy that used to spearfish off the coast south of Rocky Point and said it was a blast.

I have no solid prior knowledge of 4a before the archery hunt. We saw quite a few cows on my hunt in the usual areas according to my friend hunting with me. He did comment that there weren’t as many cows off the side of the road as he’d seen in previous hunts there, but overall seemed to be good numbers. Good luck!

I went back and checked several Costco emails and the website and I’m not finding it. Good timing though Spartan Safe is having a grand opening sale in Tucson in 2 weeks…

Friend rented a spotter from Ross for his sheep hunt. He liked the rental process and said it was worth the cost.

Newly Approved Hunter Ethics Course for the Bonus Point
bigorange replied to rossislider's topic in The Campfire
I like it…gives the adult bonus point seekers an alternative so they won’t fill up the classes that benefit youth more. -

Easy to sight in…pick a range and shoot one or more arrows. Then it will ask if you hit your aim point and if missed how many inches high or low. Like sighting in a regular sight but no manual adjustment of the pin height. Once you have several distances set then it gives you the dot for in-between distances automagically. my only complaint is when you select what distance to calibrate, then draw and range that distance…it asks if you want to set pin for that distance. Requires pushing button on the sight (not the trigger) to answer yes, so you have to let down to push the button. Not a big deal but it’s annoying. Maybe I’m dumb and there’s a way around this and I don’t realize it.

As others have said it’s no better than a regular rangefinder in brushy situations. You can always tap the button on those situations and get your full pin spread just like a regular sight…works well for some folks and doesn’t work for others.

Tag soup for me after one missed shot and several close calls. Rut never really got going that we saw and the warmer temps didn’t help either.

Any success pics? I’ve seen a couple but not mine to share. I’m getting antsy and nervous now and can’t wait…heading up tomorrow morning and hoping the bulls are going crazy!

Getting ready for work…sat on end of the bed and turned on tv and saw the news…
