Geovid R, not the Pros. My understanding is the primary difference is the ballistics tools on the Pro. https://leica-camera.com/en-US/sport-optics/hunting/rangefinder/geovid/leica-geovid-r

I tried the Swaros too. I did not see a big difference in the glass (in store…I know the biggest difference would be seen in low light and edge clarity) for the 2 grand difference in price from the Leicas.
-
I did originally…until I tried the Leica at $500 more and saw a significant difference in the glass.

Nice coues for sure….tripling up twice on archery is awesome!

I tried out a few yesterday at Scheels…definitely prefer the Sig over the Vortex for weight, overall feel, and quality of glass. Leica noticeably better glass than the Sig which wasn’t a surprise and comparable feel. Now thinking I may go with the Leicas.

Seconds if this falls through.

Great effort would love to have seen ASU pull that one out after the comeback to overtime. I did feel bad for the Longhorn kicker though.

Thanks for all the input...still researching and shopping, but leaning toward the new Sig Kilo6 HDX.

Sounds like an awesome family experience. Congrats to Max and thanks for sharing.

Oleander toxicity always makes me think of the Tucson Zoo giraffe that died years ago from eating oleander trimmings. https://www.kold.com/story/15117586/watoto/?outputType=amp

Merry Christmas everyone!

I tend to hunt where I see bucks...I'd think this time of year there will be more than one around and on the move looking for does. On the early Dec hunt we saw a couple small bucks then 2 days later a nice larger one in the same spot.

Which modeL do you have? I’ve looked at the Kilo models and noticed that CameraLand has a nice sale on the Canyon through the end of the year.

Yeah that’s a good point on the warranty is that OnX feature that great? I thought the demo I showed it basically just dropped the range into the app for you nothing more as far as direction or location you still had to do manually…OnX already has the compass function where you can put in a distance from your rangefinder manually to mark a point. I used that on my last hunt and worked pretty well to get me within about 10 ft of the location I had ranged.

As others have said you're in a great area for OTC archery...lots of unit 33 areas close to Vail, 34a and 34b to the southeast or head west to the 36s. I'm not sure if it's still 33 or another unit, but there are some areas a few miles east of Vail north of I-10 that are pretty accessible and huntable. Just about any public land in those units will have mule deer chasing does and ready to be stalked with a bow. Find some public land with good terrain and glass some up...I tend to have the best luck glassing the rollers for muleys.

Agree...hunted there once. Watching my buddy stalking a buck and seeing hikers and bikers in the same frame in my binos was an odd feeling. Haven't been back.
