I consider SirRoyal a friend and can vouch that he’s a solid guy. I don’t have a dog in this fight, but I definitely appreciate his passion for the topic. I do agree with DesertGuide and others who’ve pointed out that the current wording makes the reg largely unenforceable compared to the Utah reg that is worded much more clearly and seems enforceable.

We had a similar response to some personnel Q&A sessions about new policies at work. “We know this is important to you. We’ll circle back with answers when we have them.” 😂

I’ve actually been toying with the idea too...I shot recurve a long time ago and really enjoyed it. I suck at getting close enough with compound, so I’d be a really crappy trad hunter. I enjoy listening to Aron Snyder’s podcast from Kifaru. He talks expensive stuff, but he shifted to traditional and is pretty informative and entertaining.

I think the point is that moisture, feed, genetics, age, and maybe even some luck all play factors...a poor moisture year isn’t helping but I’m still hunting if I draw a tag!
