Cha-Ching on rv tires (actually not bad compared to truck tires) is a lot better than Ka-boom on the road...

One of the coolest things I’ve seen was on my buddy’s sheep hunt on the Goldwater range...carrier making low passes with ground targets shooting flares so it can practice evasive maneuvers and fire its own countermeasure flares.

This reminds me of when I first moved to Tucson...talking to a fighter pilot I told him I was familiar with bombers and carriers and fighters, but not A-10s...I asked him what they do and completely serious face he says “waste fuel” LoL that’s not a knock on the A-10 either. Easily my favorite plane now. The station wagon comment reminded me of it though.

I use a mobile guy in Tucson who does great work, depending on your location...there are also a couple of folks on here who service trailers.

Used to see them all the time out on the TO Rez west of Tucson. Always flying low and fast between the mountain ranges. I’ve always wondered how many times I’ve been locked on as a “target” while driving govt vehicles on the highway out there.

The areas I’ve hunted they seem to be more vocal and active the earlier part of the season. Youth hunt before the regular season seems to be the best activity.
