That’s what I meant by “natural restocking”...buying what I use in amounts I’d normally keep. I did get a little extra of my deer rifle rounds. I’ve heard same on reloading supplies...varying availability but getting hard to find certain stuff. Friend told me primers were what he was having trouble finding.

I’ll trade homebrewing lessons for reloading lessons...always a keg of homebrew in my garage fridge. Hopefully no ban on homebrewing anytime soon. LoL

Guilty as charged...but the pending election made me notice I was far below my usual par levels so it was a natural restock for me and not exactly panic. I guess the only panic for me is to beat the next price surge.

So little pressure on those hunts you’ll have a great hunt...talk to the game manager for the unit. They’re usually very helpful on Gould’s locations and often include hunters in the annual surveys. Could be a good excuse for a scouting trip...

No payments for 8 years...same as cash! Assuming this was state trust land, unfortunately that’s the exact intent of the land. State sells it whenever needed for funding. Still sad to see...we had a similar large section near me sold off last year. Losing some nice dove hunting spots.

It’s not any hotter in direct sunlight...maybe a little cooler just from shielding the sun. Kind of like a big bandana tucked under a hat.

I use a shemagh like a true infidel. Makes a good bino wrap in my pack too. I actually prefer it over more general shade since it blocks a lot of external light. Amazing how much more I can see without ambient light coming in around the eyepieces. I guess I could sit under an umbrella with it too though. LoL
