Not the biggest bull we were chasing but this guy came across a canyon to 100 yards. Couldn't resist the cow calls. He had the decision to follow his cows or check us out. Lucky for us he made the bad decision. My dad was able to tag out Friday morning. Lots of buddies were up to help which made for an awesome hunt with a lot of memories made.

Those barnes expanders did the trick for both. Mine dropped in his tracks. My dads first shot was a little back but the second dropped him where he stood. Good recommendation!

Most Bulls we saw were broke. My dads bull was broke at the right main beam half way up.It was a comment theme on this hunt. There were a few good Bulls on the hunt but had to sort through all the rage horns. Fun hunt but tough to find a good one for us anyway.

Well I'm off to the elk hunting woods Thursday with muzzy in hand. Last weekend didn't hear a peep and I'm hoping the moon had a lot to do with it. The 2 weekends before that, Bulls were sounding off pretty good.

I've seen 5-6 Bulls on face book so far. Can't belive there isn't a single pic here yet!

Heard 3 Bulls sounding off in 22S yesterday morning till 7:30 AM. 59 degrees as I got out of the truck.

Would be great binos for someone just starting out. Would even be nice for a pair to keep in the truck. If I didn't have to pay the smith today they would be sold. Good luck!
