I'm guessing tomorrow. Going to Tucson for work tomorrow and always seem to come out when I'm there for some reason.

At least we know if we drew or not if applying with cards. I drew so makes the wait for results a lot better knowing im hunting somewhere then when we only had they check option.

Sounds like the lady I talked to was about to get off work for the day ha. I would deffinetly call, couldn't hurt.

I broke my leg a few years ago and had surgery month before my deer hunt. Wasn't aloud to weight on it for three months which ment I was screwed. Called game and fish and lady said there wasn't anything they could do. Didn't mention I could donate a tag which I found out I could from this site a few months ago. I don't see why if this sort of thing happens you can't sign your tag over to a freind or someone who could use it. I understand people would get there friends that don't hunt to put in and hopefully draw a tag to sign over but what if I hobbled in on crutches to prove I couldn't hunt and be able to sign it over infront of them? A tag is a tag, they got there money already. Guess I just don't see the harm in it.

I hide them pretty good for most part. I've had two jacked in 10 years and they are up year round. The two that where stolen were in same area so just bad luck that the douech bag was there that day.

They post the leftovers right after they realease draw or at same time I think, been a while since I've looked at them. Then first come first serve at the date they set.

Speedygoss, over the years I've had a lot of thumbs up also. Along with full moons with 2 dangling, middle fingers, and looking down barrels haha

Tons of good info from a lot of good hunters on cwt.com. Read everything and ask questions when you have them and these guys will make you a better hunter!

Road hunting, or using your vehicle to aid in harvesting of game is decided by the game manager and every situation is different. I've seen people driving roads with 2 people in the bed of the truck sitting in chairs with rifles laying in their laps. To me I would say that's road hunting but to someone else they might not consider it to be. I think it's a lot like a traffic violation from a city cop, they are all differnt and some might right you ticket for doing 5 over the speed limit while others will pull you over check your license and let you off with a warning. So basically I think it depends on the manager and the situation. No expert here, just my thoughts. It's one of those subjects that is a lot like the baiting discussions. I know if I'm driving to a diff area and the game I'm hunting happens to be off the road on the way to my new spot I'm have and will drive out of sight from the animal, get out of the truck, knock an arrow and circle back around on foot. If that's considered illegal then I'm guilty.

I've had the "road hunting" talk givin to me twice by the same warden. Both times was driving to a different spot to hunt the evening. The reason it looked like I was road hunting was because my bow was in the passenger seat and not put away in a case I guess. Nothing happened but was reminded both times road hunting is illegal.

Ha I wait for one of those every draw and it's still funny every time.

A chain won't help anymore then a python lock. I've had two stolen using a chain and lock with a steel plate going through the back of the camera. Whoever it was spent some time prying/cutting. If they want it bad enough they will get it. Chance you take every time you put one out.

Kennyazman I drew my elk tag this year after the credit card hits slowed down. It was almost a week later and all of the sudden 2 or 3 people on here said they got hit so I checked again and I did to. It was after 3 or 4 days of nobody getting hit and I lost hope. I'm thinking I drew after someones card was declined and I was next in line or something like that.

Maybe call your bank and tell them to keep that card open untill draw is done and you tell them to cancel it. Maybe you can tell them to only authorize charges from game and fish if the do that sort of thing not sure.
