Here is the letter I am going to start leaving when I find a camera or stand: Dear Hunter, So glad to see someone else is hunting in this area. It has been many years since I have run into anyone else hunting this spot. I know this will sound strange, or awkard, but I enjoy hunting in the buff. I have been hoping to find someone else who enjoys this too, and will be my hunting partner. My wife left me many years ago, and ever since then I have realized that I was with the wrong type of person. I am looking for a guy who loves to hunt, and am looking for more than just a hunting partner. I hope this doesn't scare you off. We can keep this secret between you me and the deer. Hope to see ya opening morning, even if your not interested, please come, I would love to meet you. P.S. You will know it is me when you see what I am wearing, or not wearing... Your fellow hunter, Chad

I have had several bear closer than I would like. Most were because the client I was predator calling for froze and didn't shoot. Had a couple at 15 feet, and a few that stood on their hinds legs only 5 yards away to get a better look at me. The best one was a lion that I called into 4 feet... Never felt the need to pull my pistol and shoot. Those are some of the best campfire stories I have... -
Unit 33 used to have quality Mule Deer hunting. But with a decade of drought, predator population explosion, and G&F issuing too many tags every year. The good ole days are gone for good. 14% success rate for Mule deer in this unit is horrible. And of that 14% I would bet that half or more of those are spikes and forkhorns. Unit 33 has been mis-managed to the point that it is Wildlife Management Malpractice. Just look at what they are doing to the Whitetail in that unit, 2,675 tags this year and last. Wont be long and the Whitetail success rate will be down to 14% also.

I was lucky enough to spend a great deal of time in the woods of Southern Arizona this year, and thought I would share some of it with you. I had several trail cameras deployed, and captured over 44 differnt bears on camera this year. One bear that looked like a Honey Badger, another bear with a yellow G&F tag in his ear, lots of cinnamon bears, a few bears taking a bath, and several Boars chasing Sows during the mating season. Here are a few of them, Hope you enjoy.

Maybe this is the same guy who stole the trail camera in Workman Creek.... Lol

Guys, keep hanging your trail cameras on water holes, springs and trails, because I enjoy buying them dirt cheap on eBay a week later... I have over 15 cameras in the field at all times, and in all my years have never had one stolen. It is very simple, you have to camouflage it and hide it.

What if my Smart Scouter game cam sends me a picture of a buck, can I drive to my tree stand area and hunt, or do I have to hike from my house?

Wow, what a chance encounter... Did you ever forgive grandma?

The bear I hit this year with the Swhacker, had a 1" entrance wound and a 2 1/2" exit wound. Let me tell you I have never seen so much blood when I tracked him out. He was bleeding out both sides! This was the biggest blood trail I have ever had the chance to follow.

Just put your name on the picture, and that will eliminate someone claiming it theirs... Lots of outfitters on this site should be able to tell you how, they have their logos all over everything...
