Went hunting in Unit 33 today and when I came to one of Game and Fish's sign in/sign out boxes wasn't sure what to do? The sign says you must sign in / sign out by law. But there were no pens or pencils to write with in the box. There were only 2 sign in sheets, and they had been full for a couple of months from looking at the dates. People had tried signing in in every available space on the sheets. Someone had even signed in by writing their info on the lid of the sign in box. Obviously the Game Warden is too busy to maintain these boxes. The actual box had actually fallen over and somebody had tried to prop it back up with some boulders. So what do you do in this situation, If you can't sign in???

I will call G&F on Monday and ask if they need help doing their surveys.

So do I throw it away or send it in???

Now can I send it in and say I killed a deer even though I didnt? I can't get in trouble for that can I? It would be a good test to see if they actually read them.

I can sign with my bullet or prick my finger...both things I've done in the past But I would guess a pencil would be easier

Forest Service orders expire after 1 year from date on order, unless it is re issued. Then it would have current date on it.

If it is posted No Trespassing...it is posted incorrectly. Mining rights only folks. Federal mining claims are only on public land.

We took the gas out of our fireplace and had it converted back to wood burning... no reason to have a fire if you can't smell the wood burning...especially juniper.

First come, First served is not a rule... it is a suggestion from Game and Fish. Public land is owned by all of us...not just the first one there.
