A few more... Never mind the dates, forgot to reset the date when I changed batteries. This was last week.

Shoot, and then shoot again!

East Tucson got pounded today... The rain gauge said .70 inch of rain. Also saw the Santa Rita's and Rincons got some rain too...

I have had over 30 trail cameras out for the past 3 years, and most are Not locked. Never had a camera stolen! ( knock, knock). My cameras are hidden! It is very hard to steal if you don't know it's there...

Wireless trail camera question....prior to opener.

So my cell phone would be off limits, because it has a camera built in it... -

I would have given Kennedy a standing ovation if he had put that ball 3" deep in his ear hole... if your going to throw at him... make sure it hurts bad enough to take Grenkie to the DL. That is the only fault I can find with Kennedy.

I had no problems

Too bad Kennedy missed his head!

I do not lock the Buckeyes. I camouflage them so well, no one finds them. Start up for Buckeyes was around $3,000, that is a cell base, and 3 cameras. You can add up to 30 cameras per cell base. Each additional cam is around $500

Wild view trail cams can be bought on eBay for $35... This way I can get a bunch out there, and not worry about getting them stolen. Coverts are nice nice too, but it will make you cry when you find it stolen. But with the price of gas now, I am leaning towards the Buckeye system. Very reliable, works on Verizon, and sends me pics within minutes of the activation. The batteries last form 7-8 months... So all I do now is sit back and watch the show. Cheaper in the long run, when you figure in batteries, gas, and my time...

"The proper function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time." Jack London i did my living while i was in the army. now my job is to try and get my daughter ready and secure a future for her. I thank you for your service and God bless you and your descent, but I must ask .. and also to AZLance... I travel to Rocky Point, Caborca, Nogales, Hermosillo in another words, all over the state of Sonora 6 to 7 times per year... What's the problem with traveling there? To dangerous? Please explain. Ernesto C Ernesto, you must have learned to read in Mexico... because I never said not to go there. I just posted an article that most who go to Mexico should read. It is always good to be aware of your surroundings. I have been going to Rocky Point (Los Choncos) since I was a boy. And now that my tastes are more refined , I prefer fishing in Guymas/San Carlos. San Carlos doesn't have all the college kids drinking and shooting off fireworks all night. And the terrain is hands down more beautiful in San Carlos /Guymas. And the fishing in San Carlos is fabulous! Reeling in a Marlin, Sailfish, or a Dorado beats a Trigger fish or Cabrilla any day.

Congrats! I too had this hunt almost 10 years ago and chased down a big bull that was living off the ranch. What did the Bull green score?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the AZ Central is the Arizona Republic newspapers online website. And if that is correct the Arizona Republic is the largest newspaper in AZ and affiliated with the AP and UPI news orginazations. Actually they are the 14th largest newspaper in the US, I wouldn't call that a Tabliod? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_newspapers_in_the_United_States_by_circulation

The Sonoita Creek Preserve and Ramsey Canyon Preserve are Off Limits to Hunters... Also, not sure the name of it, but there is a large tract of land in 35A just north of Canelo Pass that is posted "Nature Conservancy, No Hunting".

The bighorns in the Catalina's died out because too much of their range was down where Oro Valley now is. The sheep spent a good amount of time down low, and when the houses went in the bighorns disappeared. This is why our tag and license fees keep going up... To pay or stupid things like this.

Swhackers for bull elk? Updated testing..
AZLance replied to TOBY's topic in Bows, arrows, broadheads
Cole, great video, that is what sold me. Then when I shot my 250 pound bear last year with my shwacker, it penetrated thru both sides of the rib cage, and the broad head is still in good condition. The bear left a huge blood trail, and any of you bear hunters know, that is unusual. The bear went 200 yds and died in a mine shaft.
