This is what happens when enviromentalist take over a department. The wildlife is being mismanaged, and now they are making up bogus rules to support their Junk Science of wildlife management. The biggest threat to the wildlife in Arizona, is not the drought, the predators, the diseases or poachers, it is our Game and Fish Department!

Radio comms along our border are spotty at best, especially in the canyon areas... Very sad day. One agent is dead, and the other probably wishes he was dead after killing his partner. Cant even imagine what etheir side is feeling right now. Prayers go out for everyone involved.

This is not directed at anyone here, but; When it's so dark that you can't see your hand in front of your face, and you can hear footsteps coming towards you... You can't sit back in on your couch and decide what you would have done... It is different in the real world! So unless you have been there... I guess I will stop there.

Amanda, when I showed that Order you posted above to Coronado Forest Service LEO's, they had never heard of that order or seen a copy of it before.

Who did you request the info from? I called the Coronado National Forest office in Tucson, and they said they didn't have regulations regarding baiting game animals for hunting. They referred me to the AZ Game and Fish dept. for rules and regulations relating to hunting.

So I take it that you ride your horse from your house to your hunting area, and then use a long bow right?

This technology has been out there for quite sometime. We used it to find elk and bears in thick cover 5 years ago. It works especially good at night. You can locate a specific animal before light , and be set up in the right place come first light.

Unless you are in a wheelchair, you shouldn't be concerned about driving off road. My goodness, if you are able bodied enough to shoot the animal, then you are able bodied enough to quarter it and pack it out!

So the Forest service is sanctioning taking other peoples trail cameras after 72 hours?

Sorry to disapoint you, but never had to walk to school... and in all my years of hunting and guiding i never found the need to drive across country to retrieve any of my downed animals.

Actually they were going to call the California guys from Wild Justice to do it live on tv.

Congrats! You have done something that 70% of bow hunters will never do.

If you shot it and killed it and then the other hunter who originally shot it came by and you let him tag it, you might have some trouble with G&F. You can't tag an animal that another hunter killed....
