I have the same one. My first hunting knife. Came with a hatchet as well. 50 something years ago.

Savage 99C in 308. Bought it it has the safety on top making it for a lefty like me. My Dad bought it from a guys at work. Added a Redfield 3x9 accutrack scope. Still have it.

We will keep praying. My daughter went through that last Thanksgiving. Hardest thing in the world is to see your kid hurting and you can't do a thing about it!
