I agree .. I never seen a wide supply of gun dogs in az , other than blue ticks and red bones pushing bear and lion .. Being from Illinois we always had dogs ,,, grand father raised 14inch Beagles for rabbit and critters and Britts for pheasant and ducks... we had some good Thanksgiving day dinners too...

I agree, I think a few generation missed out on quality bird and rabbit hunting... I don't hear or see to many 30 year old's and younger out in the field or gabbing at the bar... But I do see them showing pictures of dogs that they carry around like babies.. SMH

Thx . Good to know.. I have a 4 month weimie whos a little stubborn right now .. She is a lot different than the Brittany's and labs I owned and I hunted with but still very young .

I don't think it matters archery hunters been putting pressure on for months .. Really Opening day is 3rd week of August.. After that the heat is on...

I agree I do it the same way , I get all my game off the bone asap and on ice.. I don't know if the right way but its definitely the right way for me.. I find it less gamey and don't have to deal with the meat shell that forms from hanging .. but I do have little butcher background so I find it easy and I enjoy doing it al myself..

What....!!! Skinning a javelina , I thought you stick it , shake hands then take pictures and leave .. Crows have to eat as do worms …. Just kidding … with 12hr Jack Daniels marinade its just fine..

We did see quite a bit … I think with the cold temps they herd it up to stay warm..

I love it when a plan comes together . Glass them up ,don't get anxious . watch them and wait for them to settle.. Check wind cause they cant see crap .. Put the long quiet stalk on.. Get in position and put a quality shot on and hope for the best.. but boy does it feel good when you hit your mark... Starting the year off right.

Showing time and dedication , Also a great hobby , I love to see what I captured on camera and show the kids.. Priceless !! But the cams that go to mobile devices or computers , I can do with out and I own both .. And should be band... . I think its that simple lets not over think this.. What you guys think..?
