I have a Rossi .44 mag lever action, 20" round barrel, 10 + 1 capacity. This is a GREAT rifle, it surprised me how accurate is was when I shot it. It shoots anything you feed it really well, especially like the leverevution stuff. I've hit jackrabbits at 125 yards offhand with it. I wouldn't hesitate to shoot a deer with it, it's an awesome javelina gun too! $400

With that round, pick a heavier bullet and don't load it as hot. If your trying to save the hide that is. If you can find a bonded bullet, I would shoot that, it would stay together and not vaporize.

Looking for cash right now, but always willing to listen. What do you have in mind?

Thanks! This will be a great HAM gun for somebody!

I have a S&W 686 6" .357 with original wood grips for sale. This gun shoots great, has had the trigger lightened and has been drilled and tapped for a Leupold scope mount. It is a one piece base and rings. I will include the scope mount and rings but no scope. A variable 1-4 power would be perfect for this set up. $600. Will consider trades for a nice semi auto shotgun or a Vortex PST 6-24x50 MOA
willing to take cash or add cash for the right deal.

Congrats Charlie!! Nice bull!

On that hunt especially, you will need to be at your glassing point long before its light outside. They will be moving to bed early, it will still be pretty warm down there. And get it cleaned and cooled quickly. It's a great hunt!! Have fun man!!

We would just roast them over the fire, don't cook it to fast or it'll get tough.

Bet you didn't see the ones I hid though!! Lol

You don't mention what caliber you are loading for, but RL-33 could be a great alternative for the bigger magnums like the 300 RUM or the 338 Lapua. It meters similar to Retumbo and generally gives better velocity. And unlike the other RL powders, it has not shown much sensitivity to temperature. I am currently using it in both calibers mentioned above.
Reloading for a 300 RUM. Never tried RL 33, has anyone used it with any success? Curious now, any recipes? Shooting a 210 Hunting VLD. Thanks guys

Yes, just need to open the bolt face or get a new bolt.
