Just wondering if anyone has done any good in unit 8 ??
-
Awesome buck congrats!!

I have the Vultures & are very happy with them! I looked thru both the Kaibabs & the Vultures didn't like the eye piece on the Kaibabs they felt awkward to me. The Vultures fit my eyes better & I couldn't tell $700.00 difference in the glass. The Vultures work for me & my budget.

Bump for a good deal. I have the vultures & am real happy with them for the price you can't go wrong!! -
Saw a picture last year of a small bull that fell into an irrigation canal outside Ehrenberg in unit 43a they were trying to get him out. I have also seen elk in 16a by Alamo lake. Heard elk have been seen in Topock marsh outside Bullhead city (don't know if its true, but guess its possible).

I would give fish & game a call & just check with them. Hope you get them back nothing worse than a thief!!

She is a cuty for sure!! She would be perfect with my male healer, but my wife would have my hide if I brought home another dog! My parents might be interested I will check with them.

Anyone using the horn hunter full curl system?
goinhuntn replied to Hanksaiditbest's topic in Other Hunting Gear
I have had the full curl system for 2 years, and have used it a lot. I really like this system it is way underrated in my opinion. Mine ways about 30 to 35 lbs with my gear & I can wear it all day long without any discomfort at all!! I have the meat sack that attatches to frame & it works great for hauling. I don't think you could go wrong with this pack & its made in the USA. It has a lifetime warranty so if you have an issue or a buckle break as stated in another post call them they will take care of it!! -
Great story sounds like you had fun & made lifelong memories!!

Are you sure fish & game didn't remove them? I thought the regs stated you were not allowed to leave stands up they had to be removed everyday.

Congrats on your buddy's first deer! I hunted six hard days in unit 8, we hiked miles, sat water, still hunted, drove around to different areas, went to lower elevations & the only deer we saw were 3 does on the way into Williams for ice. I beginning to wonder if there are even deer in this unit anymore, but seen some nice bulls.
