I like gateway feathers and true flight, seems like the consistency feather to feather is better with true flight. As far as feather shape its more of a user choice, I haven't noticed a difference between shield or parabolic. Personally I like Shield for the look. As far as size goes it all depends, I have one recurve that shoots great with three 4", another that flies well with four 4" and my longbow loves three 5.5 inch. Just remember when fletching with feathers to take your time, don't rush and they will stick.

Im down a total of 7 right now, but the only workout I have been doing is hiking the hills.

I'm just hoping that the road hunters will stick to the actual open roads and not just romp on any road they find. It's gonna upset me to walk into a favorite spot of mine on a closed road just to have someone drive up on me.

Looks like we will be headed to 15c South. This draw results were surreal

I figure in either unit he could have drawn we will get to at least see the other hunter and possibly help each other. Are the rams rutting this time of year or do they hang out in bachelor groups. My buddy is pumped and still cannot believe it.

Does the sheep clinic cost money

That's what I'm trying to drive into his head that we need to have fun. His second choice was 15c south. We will definitely be attending the clinic, needless to say I may be as excited as he is. Sheep fever is already kicking in for me.

We talked about that, he's a died in the wool diy hunter, he's my coues deer partner so we are used to the desert just not sheep.

I need some help, I was out shooting this morning on my range and decided it would be a good idea to take a fall and land on my bow. Everything look ok t.il I looked at my y cable and it got cut pretty good. Where would you guys suggest getting a string and what would you recommend. I know it's a terrible time to get something done and this was completely my fault. Thanks in advance, Daniel

I shoot a recurve and a longbow aswell

I have a hoyt alphaburner, 70 pound max, 27.5 inch draw. It is fully setup with a hoyt 7 pin sight, aae pro drop arrow rest, aae stabilizer, and hoyt 6 arrow quiver. Also have 1 dozen easton axis arrows and 6 125 grain schwacker broadheads. I'll also throw in an extra six pin apee sight. I'm only selling it to fund another project.
