    Broadhead advice

If you are looking for a fixed blade to group well at that type of distance, I would look towards the small cutting diameter broadheads such as the sonics, wacems nad ultimate steels.
  2. I really like any of the spot hog sights. The seven deadly pins is an awesome sight, so are the real deal and the right on.
  3. About a 7, I think I could have done better, but for the money they work well for me.
  4. When ever I actually get drawn for coues deer, I shoot a plain jane Rem 700 243 win with hornady light mag 95 gr ssts. I have a 4-12 leupold scope and a harris bipod on it. Might put a better stock on it and do some trigger work with it. My number one weapon I use for everything though is My Bowtech Pro 40 dually. It zips my easton axis and magnus buzzcuts fast and accurately. My glasses are cabelas 20-80 astronomicals and I carry bushnell trophy 10-42 around my neck Daniel

    Best broadhead for deer

I hsoot 100 grain magnus buzzcuts, my girlfriend shoots 100 gr magnus stingers, both are great broadheads and leave one heck of a trail. Easy to sharpen to. Daniel

    Elk in 19A

I was thinking about going scouting this friday for elk, and was wondering if anyone has any info on these elk. I know the densities are low but I know there are a lot of elk there as well. I read the game and fish report and have an idea of where to go in the woodchute. Thanks for any help that you guys can give. If anyone needs help in 21,6A or 6B , I would be glad to help. Thanks Daniel

    Hunting Accidents

Those are some amazing stories, I have only had one close call. I was hunting for whitetails in unit 21 walking(climbing) down a steep canyon when I lost all footing and started tumbling down the hill. My brand new AR34 bow went ahead off me and just as a skidded to a stop I looked down to see my bow fall forty feet off a sheer drop. I had stopped mere feet from doing the same. Other that scraps and bruises I was no worse for wear. My bow on the other hand was dead It hit the ground and literally went into 40 pieces, I never did find the cam to it. Daniel
  11. I was wondering if there are some tips to how you stay on a hill and glass. I am beginning to hunt by this method more so I was wondering if you can give tips on glassing and stalking. I figure this would be the best place to ask. Thanks Daniel

This past september I shot my first deer with a bow. I know it is not a coues, but its close, I shot the little muley in unit 21 just north of dugas while looking for whitetails. I am not sure how to post the pic but I can send it to anyone. Since I didn't get drawn for rifle deer, I would like to help anyone out as well during the whitetail or muley hunt I can pack things out for you or help spot game. I just need to get out there thanks Daniel
