Sorry guys I was wrong in the original post and corrected it. It's been shot 37 times. I counted the rounds missing from a box of ammo I used to confirm. I updated the price to reflect the ammo I'll be including. I totally forgot I had it.

Sold.

Here's a bull I glassed from about 700 yards while archery hunting in 7E last weekend. Sorry for the picture quality, it's the best I could do with my phone and binoculars.

I'm intrigued. What other kind of stuff is going on down there that we're unaware of?

Price Lowered.

I went out for my first archery hunt this weekend in unit 7. I had a blast and saw more deer in 3 days than in my entire life combined. It seemed like every herd we spotted had a buck with them. We literally didn't go any one hour span of time that we didn't see deer. It was awesome. I had a couple opportunities at some small forkies, but the situation was not ideal and I couldn't get it done. I learned a lot about archery hunting and what I need to work on for next season, the first being practicing holding a draw for long periods of time. Anyways, just thought I'd share. We also some some monster bull elk in 7E, which I usually find them in 7W so that was pretty cool.

I'll take some tonight and post them on here.

So I went up scouting this weekend in unit 7 and our usual spot up there had a little sign on it that said road closed, fire danger. We hiked back there and there was a little stip of burn area and it was still smoking. This was in the center of a thick area about 150 yards wide, with huge areas on the East and West that are more open from previous logging and fires. The area where the burn was was about 25 yards wide and about 2 miles long up to the base of a mountain. I'm curious how you guys think this will affect the wildlife in the area. Also, if you think that road will be not "closed" come next weekend. I didn't see any real reason the road would be closed as it was still in great shape and the burn was basically finished (just smoldering a little in spots).

7E a couple miles North of the peaks.

Thanks, Amanda.

Doing some last minute scouting on google earth I came across this. Does anyone know what they are? I would assume water tanks, but the black in the middle is throwing me off.
-
Good point. I didn't even think about that.
-
Any idea what they'd be doing on public land? I used the parcel viewer for the county to verify that it's forest service land.

I just found another one about a mile away.

I completely agree. I'd drop the swaros for a 15x56 Razor in a heartbeat. I have the Razor HD 65 spotter and it's unreal clear.
-
I agree with this to a point. I had the Kaibabs and was getting frustrated with the edge clarity. After getting the Swaros in the field for a while, you really notice that the edge clarity is far superior to the Kaibabs. To me, it was worth it.
