My crew all top out at max per hour this year with no more raises(except an annual bonus for a similar amount). My salary pay has 35k in increases before i top out plus I get the bonuses. I am fortunate enough to only pull 5 8s with minimal call ins. I carry a "batphone at all times which rings at all times but that is part of management. If I rack up extra time then I just take off a Friday without using any PTO. But my boss is not a d!ck and I as a boss over 17 people would never ask them to work 7 days a week for that long or ever. Emergencies need to be tended to but meeting a deadline from piss poor planning nope. I would be down the road unless I knew there was a hck of a bonus waiting for me and my crew.

The first time my 15s fell off and I saved them with my boot from a big butt rock I thought it was me. The second time...well that POS has been sitting on the shelf. I have a custom aluminum one bolted up to them and no worries. +1 for the POS vote.

I use all the above mentioned. Last deer season my daughter pulled the gun off the tri-pod and shot off hand. All depends on the circumstance. I grew up around off hand lead slingers and prided myself not being one of them. My wife has never shot a deer off hand. Always off the tripod or claw. One shot one dead deer. Clean shots not cheating. You owe it to the animal to make the best shot you can. If you can do that offhand great just be careful your cape doesnt blow around in your face when you make your shot.

Anyone having problems with putting in for spring draw
TOBY replied to goinhuntn's topic in Javelina
Applied once, charged once, printed receipt but couldn't print the 2 hunting licenses purchased. Page unavailable. While waiting on hold I opened another tab went to purchase license page, chose the print license option and printed both out before I talked to someone. So it is almost fixed ish.. Using Chrome if it matters. -
Now come up with a plan of where are they going to booger to after the first hunt. This unit gets pounded every year and this year tags were upped by 400 plus a rut jr.in late dec. Stay off the beaten path. Find a spot that cant be glassed by big optics or youll have someones posse leading them in. I have the first hunt. Hotter but first dibs. Best of luck.

Nice pic minus the double tramp stamps.

Watch a lot of videos. Breaking down a game animal is the same from a javi to a buffalo. Get the hide off quick and get the meat cool. An old refrigerator is plenty to hold a broke down deer cool until you cut it.

There are none in Wickenburg.

Most guys use a peep that when looked thru is a match to the circumfrence of the sight housing allowing a true center to view all pins.

Does anyone have trouble seeing red led displays on rangefinders? They are practically invisible to my eyes until late in the day. Looking to upgrade to 800 yard or better without breaking the bank but needs to read in black.
-
Have done that and plan to again. I was really curious if anyone is blind to rangefinder red?
-
Leupold red is invisible to my eyes. I have a bushnell arc that works great for all my archery needs. Just wanting a little more distance for rifle seasons.
-
Does it display in red or black? Could not find that info online. I can't see red in rangefinders. Any other colorblind guys have that issue?

Do you agree with G&F forcing kids to take Hunter Safety???
TOBY replied to Big Browns's topic in Youth Hunters
Yes for sure. My girl took it at 12 and some of the kids there that passed scared the heck out of me visualizing them with an -06 in hand. Some young kids do have what it takes and some don't(why I waited 2 extra years for my girl). With that being said I have a son who loves the outdoors and dove hunted twice and has never had an urge to kill again. So just cuz you like it doesn't mean your kids will. Just like sports..if you shove it down the kids throat like some of you do they will quit it at first chance and not want to do it. -
Am I the only guy who owned a TLR 75?
