Axisworks has done 4 for i think now. Good work, and he has his own line of custom brakes that are very effective.

Ruger M77 MKII 243 and 22-250 LAST CALL

These rifles are great bench guns for fun. My dad had the 22-250 version and when my kids were little they LOVED shooting it. No recoil and with 52gr or lighter bullets it was lights out.

    WTB Long Draw Length Bow

I stopped at Ross today and they had a few bows that would do 31-32" in stock. Most were out of my price range though. I am not going to jump in and spend $2k right off the cuff.

    New tires

I have been using BFG ATs for many many years. They are still my go to tire. I don't love the mileage I am getting out of this set in my Ram 3500, but it is a heavy truck and I will still get 35k. The last set in this truck went 43k with some tread left. On a Tundra it would be better. The only place the BFG struggles is in Mud. I had Open Country AT2s on my last HD Ram, and the BFGs were better for sure all around. Especially ice and snow. The set that got 43k were 315x70x17 e rated. This set is 35x12.5x17 E Rated.
  11. I am looking potentially to a bow, preferably lightly used to practice archery with my son and potentially hunt OTC deer with. The problem is I am wide chest and 6'4" tall. Based on the 2 methods to estimate draw length i found online i am probably roughly 31-31.25" Wing span is about 78" roughly. Palm to corner of the mouth is 31.25". Is there a brand or things I should be looking for in getting a bow that can be set to my approximate draw length? Suggestions? I want to get into this, but am not going to go drop $1500+ on a new setup.

  14. Can anyone there recap the meeting today?
  15. The falconers are not pushing this. There were several falconers at the last GFD meeting to spoke to oppose this. One drove in from New Mexico. Uplands hunters also stood against this along with the bear and lion hunters.

Iso youth 6.5cm for my 10 y/o daughter

Suppressors are awesome for everyone, but especially kids.
  18. Silencerco 36M would be a good choice to potentially. A little more expensive, but more versatile if you shoot larger than 6.5cm or .308. YHM makes nice stuff though too. Remember, if you buy it and don't like it, it is yours. So don't compromise because of cost. Spend a little extra if you think something else might be a better option. I really like my Deadair Primal, but honestly wish I had bought a 46M silencerco. They were out of stock and more expensive though, so I went with the primal. I think I would have been happier though if I could have had the modular 2pc 46M so I could hunt with the shorter lighter version.
  19. That's the one. I have known Harlan since I was about 11-12yrs old when I taught myself how to reload. His shop was the closest to me that had reloading supplies, so I spent alot of money over the years with Harlan on guns, ammo, and reloading supplies.
  20. My 2 boys each have a dedicated can for there rifles now. They both have Silencerco Harvester EVO cans. Light, cheap, and effective. I rarely soot at the range or hunting unsuppressed anymore. Only guns that are not threaded get shot unsuppressed. I also look down my nose at people who don't shoot suppressed 🤣, not really, but maybe a little. If the gun can be suppressed, I don't see the reason not to.
  21. I am a deadair fan boi! 🤣 I guy i have known for 30 years is the AZ rep them, so I like to support him and honestly I like the products too if they fit what your needs are. I have a Primal (do all) and a Sandman S for AR hard use.
  22. Suppressors are awesome and I wish i had started sooner with them. I am not an expert in suppressors, but I am learning! My next can will be a dedicated 22lr can. I have rifle cans and do occasionally shoot 22lr thru them for now, but I want a real 22lr can. Probably going with the deadair mask so I can put it on a 5.7x28 pistol too.
  23. I have plans that day already. Dang it.

Iso youth 6.5cm for my 10 y/o daughter

Just go get a Ruger American Gen 2 if you can't find anything used. Adjustable LOP and has a brake from the factory.
