    300 Win Mag

    Free?
  3. Left hand tikka. That is what I am looking at for my kids who need to shoot left. Theirs will be 6.5x55 most likely. 270, 3006, 308, any of the 300 mags, 6.5 creed, 7-08, etc will all get it done on anything in AZ.

    Hornady ELD-X

I am going to try some 185gr Berger Classic hunters in my 300 weatherby. The 135gr 6.5 cals did great on 2 deer last season, so I am going to try and use the 185gr this cow elk season. I have a decent load worked up in my 300 win mag with 208gr ELD-M bullets. I have not put 1 in an animal yet though. For moose I would be looking at something a little tougher personally. Nosler Partition or other heavily constructed bullet.

The wife had a big pack of bacon she needed to use up so she did this for dinner. Jalapeno poppers, deer meat loaf bacon wrapped, and cauliflower with olive oil, parsley, garlic, and parmesan cheese on top.

    WTB Leupold 30mm high rings

I am not in a huge hurry. Please let me know. Thank you.
  8. Does anyone have a set of blued 30mm high rings for Leupold standard bases. 1 twist in dovetail, 1 with screws? I bought a set of medium and they are 1mm to short for my scope. I am in Glendale but travel all over Phoenix Metro for work.

    Background Problems

Typically a delay gives them 3 business days to research your background. They are required to call back and deny you in that 3 day window, otherwise no call or response during that time means they can release the gun. Ask them to show there store policy if it differs from the federal law. Make them give you a refund or give you the gun.

    Crispi boot recommendations

I bought insulated Nevadas before last years deer hunt. I am so glad I did. They are a great boot. Non-insulated would probably have been fine, but I seem to hunt elk when it is cold so I went that way. I dont really pack hunt deep in nasty country so the Nevada is a good choice for me. If i was going deep with heavy packs in nasty territory, something taller and stiffer might be better. I bought mine through Ross. They had several models in stock in most of the common sizes. They were great. I had to order mine because I needed the 12.5 wide boot. They had a 12 in stock that felt good but snug, so I new the extra room of the wide 12.5 wide would be perfect.

    rifle build

Axisworks has been doing a few muzzle brakes for me, and one day I plan to have them build a rifle for me. My 257 weatherby will need a new barrel sometime in the near future I am sure.

Towing out of terminal 4 garage sky harbor

Like mentioned. Lost brakes, and lost power brakes are different things. If you only lost power assist you should be able to make it out with the emergency brakes and some heavy leg exercises. You might have Popeye thighs when you are done though. The other option to get out of the garage is have a buddy with a truck meet you there. You tow him out of the garage. He uses his brakes to slow both of you. Once you are out, you can get a normal tow truck to take it from there. Or mobile mechanic.

    Traeger at Costco Tempe

Honestly Traeger is probably no better then some other competitors, but they make a good product and offer lots of useful info for free online. They are probably the Yeti of pellet grills, but do a good job giving back to the pellet grill users of all brands, and support people who support the outdoors. That is why I was willing to pay a little extra for the Traeger.

I have an old cross flow smoke I used to use alot. Then I had kids and had no time to sit all day tending the firebox to keep the temps right. The Traeger tends its own firebox and puts out awesome food.
