Weapons works used to be at 19th and glendale, but I think they have closed. Leadtime there usually sucked. They did some work for me way back and it was good.

Where are you located? That makes a big difference in recommendation. Axisworks did mine. I am very happy with it. They are in tempe.

Just ordered myself a new rifle

Sportsman's avondale had a couple hells canyons in awhile back. -
They are going to reduce the population, but not get rid of it. There is no way they get rid of them without a long drawn out fight with lots of people on the ground and in the air. If they would just sell some tags for $20 each, or better yet just open the area to pig hunting only, they would make/save money and control the herd at the same time.

Just let us shoot them... I would drive to Havasu to shoot some feral pigs.

My 6.5x55 does ok with them. Probably 1" groups or so, which is totally fine for me for an old sporterized battle rifle from 100 years ago.

I have flopped my rock crawler a few times. It is interesting for sure. I did a 3/4 roll in a buddies crawler too. That was much more violent than just a flop. I always harness up. To many people die because they don't harness up, or only put on a lap belt. 4 point harness at a minimum in a crawler, racers razor, side x side, etc. Harley

Hunting with Glocks and non hunting pistols(pics page 2)
Hoss50 replied to BeardownAZ's topic in Javelina
I almost had to use my self defense 1911 in 38 super for self defense from a javalina during a deer hunt about 4 years ago. It was a hairy situation. I had it out last javalina season too when we were pushing some brush where we missed a couple rifle shots. One broke out behind us after we passed through the brush. Harley -
Robar industries?

I had a chocolate when I was a kid. Totally retarded when he was at home and had no place to run. Put him in the open field and he was a great dog.

Randalls has 1 for $1200 brand new. Don't know if that is a good or bad deal, but I know they are hard to find sometimes. Harley

I would take a Toyo over a Firestone every day of the week.

My last 5 dogs have been rescues and i don't think I would ever consider paying alot of money for a specific breed. Look around and you can probably find a great rescue, probably even a lab like you want. Harley

Here is mine. I am not 100% sure how to score it. -
What is recommended rings/bases for Vortex Viper 44mm on Rem 700 LA?
Hoss50 replied to Viper's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Get a 20 moa rail or mount setup. I went with 0 on my 300 win mag, and today I shot it for the first time. I barely have enough adjustment to get to 1000 yards, maybe. I bought the Talley lightweight ring/base that is a base and ring all in 1. They asked if I wanted 20 moa and like an idiot I said no. Other than that flub on my part they are nice so far. My scope is a Vortex HSLR with 50mm lens. It clears mediums with no problems. -

I got mine shot today. Not that great, but I was/am working on sighting in and load development. Maybe next round I will do better. Are we sending these back to you to score lance, or how are we scoring? Harley -
Those dogs have no fear. Pound for pound they are scrappers for sure. They are just at a size disadvantage compared to bigger dogs. They walk the walk though unlike alot of small dogs that are just talkers.

I have a little pit bull mix that would go after that thing in a heart beat. She may not win, she would give a heck of a fight. Her record with feline invaders in our backyard is pretty impressive. Sweetest dog you ever met unless you are a cat in her yard. I have a rottie that would act tough but take a beating from that kitty. The st Bernard too. They are not tough like the terrier.

Who is the sister then if your sister can lift more than you...

Are those the right pictures?

Both will be good choices. My next one will be a 6.5x55 from CZ with a mannlicher stock.

If you are cleaning your rifle every time you are cleaning to much. Once you have a load dialed in, don't clean the rifle until the groups start to open up. Then clean and foul the bore again. Shoot til the groups start to open up again. I used to do the same thing as you. Now I don't clean my 257 weatherby very often, probably 120+ rounds at a minimum before cleaning for my 257.

My boss has a 2016 Ford F250 diesel and likes it alot. He drove one of our other salesman 2015 Dodge Cummins mega cab and said if he had to do it over again he might have went dodge. Another guy has a 2014 Duramax and is a die hard chevy guy. He loves it. The only problem with it so far has been a cracked radiator under warranty.

Any of you guys with diesels should really look at investing in bypass oil filter systems, and also 2 micron fuel filters. Especially the guy with the chevys that are killing injectors constantly. Bypass oil filters siphon off a small amount of oil all the time and sends it through a super fine filter to keep your oil cleaner longer. Dirty, sooty oil is the worst thing for motors. The biggest killer of newer style injectors is dirty fuel. Factory fuel filters dont cut it IMO and adding and aftermarket fuel filters will filter much finer and longer than factory. I have done DIY systems for both the above on my truck. The set of injectors cost me $3000 and I did the labor myself. I home built a fuel filter setup for $70. Cheap insurance if you ask me. DIY bypass oil filter kit cost me $130. Well worth it. It can be done cheaper if you are willing to drill and tap your valve cover on your own. If there is interest in these items let me know. I did small write ups on them and can post them here if need be too. Harley
