Anyone reloading for a .264 win mag?
Hoss50 replied to GreyGhost85's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I love how people won't jump on board with a round because it is "barrel burner" but how many people have actually burned out a barrel? Very few realistically. I know at some point I will burn the barrel on my 257 weatherby, but I have probably 800 rounds down it sofar and it is going fine. If/when I burn out that barrel, that will be the first 1 I have ever burned out. -
Anyone reloading for a .264 win mag?

I load for my 257 Weatherby with H1000 and 115gr bullets. I use 264 Win Mag & 7mm Rem Mag cases to make my cases for the weatherby. So I am not exactly shooting 264, but something close. My gun LOVES H1000 with Berger HVLD's. It will consistently shoot them sub-moa with the load I worked up. The gun also shot well with IMR4831, but not like H1000. Once I burn the barrel out on this rifle I have seriously considered a rebarrel in 264 Win Mag, but I do love my quarter bore... 264 win mag is a round that should be a monster especially in this day in age of the 6.5 love, but it still just doesn't catch on and I don't know why. -
Very nice! I hate big box hunting stores. The pricing they have sucks. You pay extra for there overhead and the "experience". I hardly ever buy anything from Bass Pro or Cabela's. Local shops or at worst Sportsman's warehouse for my money. I have not been to Healy's but when I get to that side of the world again I am planning on stopping in. Everything I hear is top notch.

Does anyone use one of theit IWB holsters? How do you like it? I had a Bladetech for years, but it finally gave up on me so I need a new IWB holster. Any other suggestions? I liked my Bladetech and the kydex in general because it held its shape if the gun was out and was a ton easier to register than my old Galco leather iwb holster. Harley

Otter box. I drop my phone regularly and it is still surviving.

I have a few different types of brass I dont need so I would like to trade them for things you may not need. Reloading bullets, other brass, etc. 40-50pcs 7x57 mauser brass $10 40-50pcs 7-08 brass $10 SPF 150-200pcs 40s&w $20 7mm Rem mag IMI/Hanson headstamp brass. Yugoslavian import ammo from Hanson $5 per 20ct. 38spl mixed stamps $10 per 100ct. 357 mag. mixed stamps $10 per 100ct. Selling the brass is not out of the question if you want also.

Yeah they are amazing I am in the same boat. However food for thought, otterbox is lifetime guaranteed. If you call them as I did last month you can give them the serial number from your otterbox and they send a new one free of charge. The website says 1 year warranty.

Otterbox. Make her get 1. I have had my Galaxy Note 4 for almost 2 years now, and I can guarantee that with me the phone wouldn't have lasted 2 weeks, let alone 2 year without that case. I actually just put a new otterbox on the phone last week because I beat the case to death, but the case did it's job and the phone is fine. Knock on wood. Harley

works for me. I will get out there and count it all out after work tomorrow if you send me a message to remind me.

What head stamp do you want and I will check. The winchester may have a couple firings. The rest is probably once fired. Winchester - 100rds or so I would guess. Sellior & Bellot - 60-100 probably. Federal & Hornady = about 20 total. Maybe 15-20 winchester nickel cases.

I am in Peoria and work in Tolleson.

All is once fired brass, except maybe the 3006. It may have a couple firings. Prices added. I have multiple calibers so let me know what brass or things you have to trade. If you want the brass outright how about $5 per 20ct on the rifle rounds. $10 per 100 on the pistol. Harley

I have 1 on order. It should be here later this week. I need to order a holster now. Harley

Amazon.com I just bought on for my in laws for xmas. $77 with an eXtra belt pack shipped free via prime. That is the best bet if no one has a used 1.

I have been working with my 300 win mag lately. 208gr ELD-M bullets over H1000. Federal GM215 primers loaded for mag length at about 3.41" It is about MOA or a little less right now and I am going to keep working on it. Harley

Don't sleep on the Redfield revolution scopes for basic hunting rifles. They are a great value.
-
Yep. 4 wheelers supply on Washington. They may even have 1 to swap with. Talk to old man Barry and tell him Harley from the Undertakers sent you.

H4831, H414, H1000, RL22, IMR4831. All good starting powders for 7mm Mag most of the time. I am working with RL22 with 168gr bullets in 7mm Rem Mag and they shoot well. Either 4831 powder are more common to find on the shelf than the other 3 listed above though.

Rowsey needs to go back to basics. Armbar = win. I hope Cruz wins, but I hate watching him fight. He is like Floyd Mayweather. He dances and counterpunches his way to a win because you can't hit him.

Very nice. I love the 44 mags on the Blackhawk frame with the round trigger guard.
