Then I just thought to myself and picked the one I knew I could trust and for me it was a vx3 4.5-14 I know a lot of people say vortex is a good scope in the price range bot I read some reviews that didn't make me happy. I have a vxi vxii and vxiii all work great and keep on target year after year. I would go for the leupold

Thanks it has worked good for me to. Here is the brake down call $199 sound cards $45-$60 each. Now there is a place where the horn broke off the base i fixed it and don't hurt the sound.The scope I took on trade thinking I would use it and I just don't so time to get rid of it

I would bring the .270 & 300 win mag just in case something where to happen with the first gun or if the shots end up longer then you first thought. I always take two guns when home is not base camp
