Depending on your tow rig, available COVERED boat storage space, I recommend no less than an 18' boat. Wide beam is a plus. The lakes mentioned get rough at times. A wider, longer boat is a much more stable platform. Substantial horsepower is always a plus. Buying a used boat is the way to go. Likely, a used boat will have electronics, trolling motor, canopy, SS prop(s) anchors, ropes, etc. Pricey items that are often included in a used boat sale. Be patient and you'll find a great boat in the used market. New boat pricing is great motivation to buy used.

Great price on alpha glass. GLWS

Biden DOJ possessed the Epstein files for a number of years. Thankfully they suppressed any Trump involvement.

Cat basketball had a great season. Did not see the effort I expected from them last night. That being said, making the final four is an outstanding accomplishment. Congrats to the Cats.

Amazing bucks, we need a story!

Your welcome. Let the site know what you come up with. The most common mistake guys make when measuring is on the main beams, the point at the end of the beam is not measured twice, it is strictly a beam measurement. BTW, I am not an official measurer. Nice buck!

Score the rack typical then non-typical. IMO, it is definitely non-typical. Non-typical antlers are 1st scored as a typical, differences noted on score sheet. Abnormal tines are then measured and added to the score. For a typical score, abnormal tines are subtracted. Hardest part of scoring a non-typical is deciding what is normal/abnormal. Unless you plan on entering it in "the book", measure it yourself and subtract nothing. Gross score best ID's the animal, nets are for fish.

Download a score sheet from either B&C or P&Y. Instructions are on the scoresheet. Not difficult, you should be able to get very close.

What ever breed you end up with, suspect it'll be sleeping on your bed in no time. Never had a cow dog but know they are super smart. Bred to be aggressive, biting (cows) is what they do. Socializing is likely a necessity.

Probably going to need a pallet, a case won't cut it.

Agree. I do not have a problem with being critical of any political party.

Been consistently voting for 50+ years. Voted for a Dem once. Dennis DeCONsini who promptly wrote the bill giving away the Panama canal. Cannot see ever voting for a party that wants open borders, tranny surgeries for minors, murder of the unborn, full on socialism, etc., etc. Conservative Dems need to take back their party.

China and Russia are allied with Iran. To expect either to not supply/support an ally is ...... not what an ally is. Our military surely expected this. MSM reporting is headline grabbing and also to be expected. Not a "stop the presses" moment. My beef with the Trump administration among other things, our ballooning national debt. Campaigned on reducing debt, corruption, DOGE, etc. Not seeing it. Dollar continues to slide.

Operation Epic Fury should have occurred December of 1979. Obama administration freed up 400 billion thinking Iran would not pursue a nuke, lol. Here we are. Better late than never.

I drew 5B in 2020 with 27 pts, got tag #4 in the max point pool. Recommend going out of state if hunting antelope more that a couple times in a lifetime is a goal.

Most of us have decent optics, 15X56 on a tripod work great. Discovered by our friends @ UofA, Easily seen from 6 - 7 pm, currently @ 250 degrees WSW. A really nice comet. Link gives precise location info, check it out. Should be visible for another week or two (till moonlight returns). https://theskylive.com/planetarium?obj=c2025a6&date=2025-11-11&h=01&m=33#ra|17.025795367594426|dec|-12.634475576887828|fov|57

Some of your best memories about the outdoors?
Swivelhead replied to knothead's topic in The Campfire
Mid 60's, grandfather would take my brothers and I quail & rabbit hunting north of Phoenix. Usually near Cave Creek & Lone Mountain roads. We had a blast. Grandfather started a fire inside us that burns to this day. -
I too missed this post. Outstanding rams, congrats to the hunters. What an adventure it must have been.
