Taylorz1 seems like a good guy. I'm sorry these weren't what he is looking for and I know it was a drag to drive from Tucson to Casa Grande only to be disappointed. What he's saying about them is true and I probably should have been more clear in my description about them (I'm not sure I'd call the added finish on the 270 thick but that is a minor thing). In my mind, they are not high end collectibles and are shooter grade guns and I didn't go into a lot of detail of all the defects. I had offered them to him for $650 each and I will offer them to anyone here for that price. I found a set of new Leupold pre 64 scope bases that I'll throw in for the one without any bases on it.

Open to trade ideas, too.

I am trying to figure out the best way to go....my buddy keeps telling me that one of the high power air rifles is the way to go.

I have had so many 218 Bees that I can't remember where they came from or where they went The one I have now I traded with a guy and got it more recently. I'm having a coyote problem and I thought it would be the answer. I haven't sighted in it yet but I came across a Ruger 77 in 17 HMR and I thought that might work better but I am still working on it. I'm in an area where I have to be careful with what I shoot.
