It can be cut down but it would probably require some epoxy or filling work to reattach a pad. I'm not sure but I know a guy who does that kind of thing. I can ask him if you'd like.

I got these about a year ago on Ebay. I sent them to Minox to fine tune the focus as there was a bit of a parallax problem. Minox handled the repair under warranty and returned them to me. They have been sitting here for a while so I thought I'd sell them. Located in south Tempe area. $475
