Does anyone have a kayak or canoe they are willing to rent for a quick overnighter this Wednesday 7/13? My daughter and I are headed to Willow Springs fishing and she wants to go kayaking. Either a 2 person or two singles. I am in Queen Creek. Thank you. Bobby 480-220-6501

Youth hunt camps have great people and it is always awesome to see a kid kill their first big game. If you know the unit, guide/mentor a kid or just help glass and then pack out some elk meat. Heavy packs in elk country always makes for new friends and great memories!!

They burned about 2 miles of road on the SE flank last night. Last I heard the line held with no slop over. Might be the heat signature you see on arcgis.

Already got mine also.

My son and I had to back flush ours on a trip last summer. But I think my son got to close to the bottom of the little creek we were using and sucked up sand into it. Very easy to back flush.

Where are you located

I had the 27s hunt. When I say my number one and two it was by looks and age. Some like em busted and some like em clean. I scouted over 20 days and had a lot of photos and video of many rams. I was in the unit with my son during the first hunt and ran into G&F who confirmed by photos that 1 and 2 were dead because I could not locate them. He said they were killed early into the hunt. I then found a ram I liked a few days before my opener and followed the band of sheep by 15's that week and with the help of friends got him killed on opening day. I was on another second rocky hunt in another unit and was able to see a good friend kill a great ram.

This is how it used to be. I was fortunate enough to draw a second hunt rocky tag in '07 and had a blast. It made for less hunting pressure considering the rocky's are not nearly as spread out as desert sheep where I hunted. My number one and two got killed on the first hunt. But I would take a second hunt over no hunt any day!!

My wife, my Dad and I chased some birds over the weekend with our kids. My 14 year old son killed his second Tom and has really proven to be a great hunter! My 12 year old daughter had a couple birds close but could not close the deal. Had a blast with 2 birds gobbling for about 30 minutes at about 40 yards with no shot. Another set had a hen come to the call solo and putted for about 15 minutes at 15 yards! She did awesome on many sets in the 20 degree weather and wind screaming! A lot of great memories and beautiful snow on Saturday morning. My daughter was bummed about the turkeys so close with no shot but a couple sheds made her day! Last year she hunted turkey with a busted foot in a boot, this year she has a busted arm in a cast, next year she gets bubbled wrapped before turkey season

We had THREE pending charges from Game and Fish for $135 on Friday morning. Now there is only one!!!! Our house had five separate apps, all bull tags. Has this ever happened to anyone else before??? Talk about going from excited to way bummed... Worst April fools joke ever!!!!

You were all right. All three tags posted this morning on Chase. Thanks for letting me vent on here so my wife did not kick me out she already made the comment about being a hunting widow come September. Only reason she was not worried is because she was guaranteed in the max pool for her tag!
