Need good home for two labs

This kills me to even write this. We have two great lab mix dogs about 3 years old that need to go to a good home. We have short 3-4 foot tall horse corral fences and they keep jumping the fence and eating our chickens and turkeys. We could deal with it until they started going after the neighbors chickens. They behave perfectly when we are around. They come, sit, stay. My neighbors filed a complaint with the county. We were warned that if they are found outside our fence again they would be taken from us. For the last few months they have been tied up or in a kennel when we are not home. I have misters set up and a pool they could get in. But I can't see them like this anymore. We have had each of them their whole life. They are great with my kids and will lay down with them in the grass. They don't need much special, just no chickens. Please ask any family or friends if they are interested. I can't see my dogs go to the pound and they deserve to be able to run. I would like them to go together, but I understand if you can't. Bobby 480-220-6501

Need good home for two labs

They are not fixed. The black one is a male. The yellow is a female. Their moms were pure breed yellow labs. We think the black one's dad is a big black lab male across the street and we think the yellow is mixed with a German shepherd.

Need good home for two labs

Thank you so much for all of the replies. I already built a chain link kennel for them. But I don't like to see them cooped up in there. I can't stand to see them chained to a tree any longer. I have over an acre of pasture that would be unrealistic to raise the 2" pipe 2-3 feet. I bought the electric fence and buried it. He learned where it was and jumped over it anyways. I have tied dead chickens to their neck and they ate every last feather. I put dead chickens in their kennel and they looked at me like I was rewarding them. I did the shock collar with diversion training. That worked the best for about a month or so and then my kids came home from school one day to 18 dead chickens and 4 dead turkeys and the neighbor said they were also in her yard. I have been very gracious to sell puppies on here very inexpensive because I know they will be loved and taken care of. If my dogs get out again, they will belong to the county. If that makes me a bad person to look for a good home before that happens then I am sorry. I have been trying to tackle this on my own for over a year. And since the letter from the county came I have been afraid my dogs would be gone every time I come home. We have other labs that don't eat our chickens or get in the neighbors yard, so my kids are very understanding. Please help me find a good home for my dogs.

    Peaks Hunt 2014

My son had that tag a couple years ago. Beautiful country. He earned his bull that year, no road hunters with that tag.

  8. The early archery bull tag is all of 22. Had the tag a few years ago. A ton of fun when they are hot! Tough when they are not.

Sick of hearing about you missing

This kind of pisses me off. The post I recently put out about the stupid no see ums was because my son and I were gridding an entire freakin mountain and canyon looking for a buck I hit and never found. Been a week and a half and it is still on my mind every day that I killed a deer that I never found. Spent 5 days pushing through scrub oak and manzanita, glassed for crows and sat under the stars for nights just to hope for some excited coyotes... All because I messed up. My tag is filled! The only perfect human I am aware of was killed about 2000 years ago! Have a nice day!

    No see ums

I recently saw a thread for no see ums on here but now can't find it. My son and I got them bad this weekend. Can anyone help me find that thread please. Thanks.

    No see ums

Thanks for helping. Sounds like a couple more days of itching the groin and wearing pants at work this week. Then better preventing next time. Sprayed but obviously not enough or in the right places!

    No see ums

We were in 23S. My son text me from school, said he is going crazy itching. I took him some aloe Vera with lidocaine. The lady at the front desk of the high school said that he could not have it... Until I showed her my legs! Then she said it was fine! Definately helped the itching. We did the deet spray. But I think we got it so bad from sleeping under the stars a couple nights.

    Electric Dog Fence

That's funny. One of my labs did the same thing. Put in an electric fence to him on my property. He would take off after a rabbit and jump the fence and yelp, then stand on the other side and refuse to come back in because he knew what was going to happen. Tried moving it away from the fence and he jumped farther.
  16. Take them into the outdoors every chance you get! My son was on my back on his first turkey hunt when he was 2 1/2 months old. I carried that boy all over for awhile. Then when he was able to walk, he walked until he was tired then I carried him again. Now he is 13 and almost 6 feet tall. Packed out part of his sisters elk last year and his own pig and turkey this year. Did the same with my daughter. She is 11 and is already arguing with her brother about who gets first shot for dove and squirrel this year. I say Rock Paper Scissors, but she says otherwise!! They started shooting rabbits and squirrels when they were about 3 or 4. Ate every last one of them to teach them like my dad did. I try to show them everything God created for us to live. We eat prickly pears and acorns. If I go hunting or scouting while they are at school, they remind me when I get home that they did not get to go. Makes me feel bad, but school comes first...sometimes.

    Lab mix puppies $25

The black labs mom was a pure breed yellow lab that jumped the fence and we think she breed with a big pure breed black lab next door. He is very blocky headed and beautiful. The mom's mom was also a pure breed that we are not sure of the mix. We think either German shepherd or another lab in the neighborhood based in her ears. We live in a rural area so we know most of the dogs around.

Should we be using ear protection?

Definitely wear ear pro. At my job we get an annual hearing test. I started putting in plugs before the shot about 4 years ago. I was told by the Doc that if my hearing test continued at the current trend I would have hearings aids within 10 years. I now have Tinnitis (ringing in the ears). That ringing sound never goes away, roosting birds in April or bugles in September, it is always there. I wish I knew 20 years ago what I know now. Keep in mind I am only in my 30's. I will put my left plug in when I am going to set up and let the right one hang from my neck, then when it is time to shoot I simply slide the right one in without having to move from the rifle.

    Polaris ranger tires and rims

I don't think so. I have an 06 700 and the bolts are smaller than the holes on these rims.

    Polaris ranger tires and rims

These rims don't fit my ranger. Like a dummy I did not know the bolts were a bigger size on the new Rangers and I bought them for spares. Now I have no use for them. I will take $300. I also have all of the lug nuts if you need them.
